We were able to make a deal with a trade-in for a 2025 Acadia. Our sales consultant, Sway Saenz was very accommodating, friendly, and was able to achieve a fast and great deal that same day. I would highly recommend Carroll GMC Dealership and our sales consultant Sway Saenz.

I had a deeply disappointing experience with Carroll GMC at 1455 S Tamiami Trail in Venice, FL, specifically with Sales Manager Monte Jacobs.
After negotiating the price on a used car and paying a deposit, I was told the vehicle would be delivered to me since I couldn’t pick it up that Saturday due to a work emergency. I fully cooperated, submitting all required documents (driver’s license, insurance, registration) early that morning and confirming my availability for a call later in the day.
Despite clear communication and agreement on delivery, I was informed a few hours later that my deposit was being refunded because “they had another buyer” and that the sales manager had decided to cancel my purchase due to a supposed “lack of communication.”
This explanation is simply untrue — I had been responsive, transparent, and cooperative throughout the process. The dealership’s decision to sell the car to someone else after accepting my deposit shows a complete lack of business ethics on the part of Monte Jacobs.
Professionalism and integrity are fundamental in any business, especially in automotive sales, and unfortunately, that was not reflected here. I would strongly caution others to be very careful when dealing with this dealership.
PS: Don't ask me to call you if you honestly intend to restore my confidence. You have my contact information, so if you want to restore my confidence, be proactive.

My experience with this dealership has been nothing but positive in both purchasing vehicles over the years AND servicing them. Stuart has always been incredibly knowledgeable about the vehicles, options etc. He really takes the time to explain and make it all clear. If you are in the market for a vehicle, you MUST try this dealership.

Believe all the other posts about their service department not calling you back. My truck was dropped off Monday morning, they said they didn't know if they would be able to run diagnostics today or tomorrow. I thought I would get a call Monday afternoon or Tuesday morning with the results. No call was made to me Monday or Tuesday. By Wednesday morning, without hearing anything, I called at 8am and left a message for the service advisor looking for an update. 10 o'clock came and I still had no update so I called again and left the service manager a message looking for an update. Now it's 12 o'clock and still I had no update, they have had the truck for 2 days and I have no idea what the problem is. I left the General Manager a message to please give me an update. 4 o'clock came and still nobody could give me a call to let me know what was going on with my truck, that's when I had enough and called GMC Customer Assistance and had it towed out of there and to Jenkins Chevrolet. They had a loaner vehicle for me, kept me up to date every step of the way, and everyone I dealt with in their service department was so pleasant to deal with.

I just bought a GMC Yukon. Mark Brandofino was my sales associate. He delivered great service, was a wealth of knowledge demonstrating the technology on the vehicle. He made the entire process smooth and enjoyable. I felt like the price I negotiated was fair and I would recommend this dealership.

We were having issues with our somewhat new 2019 gmc sierra slt so we decided to go to the source to see what the issues were. We went to Carroll dealership in Venice and had the truck looked at to decide if it would be reasonable for us to service the vehicle or purchase new/used. Tom Fields met us on the lot as we were walking about the newer vehicle’s. He was not your usual pushy salesman and his simple demeanor made it easy to feel like he was not out to sell us an expensive truck. We test drove two different trucks and the GMC AT4 was the pick. Of course we were hoping that would not be the case but then the hammer dropped from the service department. The torque converter was the issue and it needed to be replaced. This meant dropping the transmission to repair. The price to fix the truck was not worth it. We then began our talks with Tom on purchasing the 2025 gmc Sierra AT4. He walked us through the process and we agreed to a purchase price and a fair trade in value. We are driving off the lot soon in our new certified GMC. Happy about the truck and happy we had Tom to get us through this pretty stressful buying journey.
