Sean Bradburn came out today to do our annual HVAC maintenance. Sean was a very pleasant young man, very respectful of our property. Sean provided a complete check of all our components and cleaned the outside unit thoroughly. We are very pleased with our business relationship with Tri-County Air. Our July-August FPL bill rocketed to almost $500. Coincidentally, our next maintenance appointment was scheduled for 8/27/25. Nate our technician was very friendly and thorough. During his analysis he discovered our 2 year old system was down almost 4lbs of refrigerant. I'm assuming that either our system has a leak or when they had to replace the evaporator coil on the air handler this Spring, that they failed to fill the refrigerant level properly. I now suspect our freakishly high utility.bill may have been the fact that our system was running more to compensate for the lack of coolant. To his and Tri-County's credit Nate came out a week later to check the system's coolant level again to make sure there was not a major leak. We'll see how this repair fairs.
