What a terrible experience here today. After having my compounded prescription filled here since May, today when I arrived I could see the building was completely damaged from the last storm. I walked through the door and could see that all of the shelves were completely empty and the smell of mold was SO strong that I remarked about it. I became nervous that my compounding cream would be infected by mold spores and talked with Sarah who is the owner. Sarah was quite rude and said she would transfer my prescription for me. I said that I needed to have at least a vial, as I was almost out of medication and this medication is required. I called the pharmacy that she had recommended while I was there and expressed to them my concern about the mold. When I got off the phone Sarah informed the clerk to not give me the vial at all. She refused to give me my medication. In my opinion, this is NEGLECT of a patient. She has no right to refuse me my required medication, this is not something I can get at CVS but it must be compounded. I think this place needs to be shut down so that the mold can be remediated and the fear of mold getting into prescription medicines is not a potential issue. I left there with a headache which lasted over an hour and now I am coughing. I have attached pictures that they took of the damage to that building in October.

Sarah and her staff are amazing. The care, attention and communication is second to none. My wife has been using them for years and now I’m using them. I will not go anywhere else. The care you receive is unheard of these days. Thank you Venice Apothecary!

I can not say enough about Sarah and her staff! Sarah and her staff go above and beyond to take care of their customers. The customer service here is truly genuine.The communication with my Dr to make sure my compounded medication is always tailored to my needs is amazing. I know my meds are made with care. Highly recommend The Venice Apothcary.

All the technicians at Venice Apothecary have such a nice warm friendly inviting personality they make ordering your prescription so easy and they go out of their way to make sure everything is done for you I can’t say enough good things about this pharmacy and their willingness to help especially the pharmacist who is efficient and prompt in filling your medication needs!

After far too many years using the big box pharmacies, pharmacies which fill 300-400 prescriptions daily with the attendant mistakes, it's pure joy dealing with the Apothecary staff and procedures.

I was in Venice visiting family and ran out of i vital medical supplies . Venice apothecary Was so extremely helpful and kind to me. Provided me with enough medical supplies to get back home. Extremely friendly staff!! Highly recommend!

I have never written a review before on Yelp but I am so incensed I had to write one immediately after talking to their pharmacist. Their delivery service is very convenient and they provided the service of putting my 97 year old Mom's pills in the appropriate daily pill box. However, after the THIRD MISTAKE in dispensing the correct medication, I decided to make a change. I called the pharmacist to tell her why we were no longer going to be customers for her edification. she told me that she asked my mother's aide (I live in another state) to return the pill boxes so she could teach her pharmacists and she refused and "sometimes they make mistakes". To me this is not an acceptable excuse. I told her they needed better quality control and since she seemed to be finding excuses instead of addressing the issue, I was going to end the phone call. A pharmacy has one main objective and that is to dispense meds accurately. They failed three times!

I'm sick of big-box pharmacies, their poorly trained technicians, excessive wait times, and their lack of compassion. I wouldn't spend a dime on the over-priced consumer products. The Apothecary trains their staff well, I never wait in a line and I'm totally satisfied. If there is one negative issue, the pharmacy is not open on Saturday or Sunday, and, perhaps on holidays. All ya have to do is to be mindful and plan ahead.

I was disappointed when I my elderly mother told me that while having a prescription fixed, she purchased one KN95 mask at the register- for $10. These sell for about $3 each online. I'm all for a business making a profit- but this seems to take be taking advantage of older folks who might not know better.

Incredible customer service. The pharmacist genuinely cares about her customers and their health. I've never received this same level of service at big chain pharmacies
