Eh, they ruined the sauna in the Men's room. Sauna won't get over 145-150F now. The health benefits from a sauna start at a minimum of 160F-175F. There are zero health benefits to being in a sauna at less than 150F. Won't be coming back here again.

I have been attending the Venice YMCA for almost three years, and really appreciate the variety of options offered - the numerous machines on two floors, the classes, and the gorgeous outdoor pool. Many machines are being replaced, and it's thrilling to use the new equipment that is being set up. Class teachers are very patient and it's fun to explore all the different offerings. Wish I had joined years ago. Staff is always friendly and helpful.

while I am a member and DO enjoy the many amenities they offer I also get rather peeved when they make it difficult to reserve a court I also get rather Pissed when they DO NOT mention that Racquetball is available

This gym needs some serious renovation. bathrooms are substandard. For the price that you pay I don’t like it. The hours are not very long in the eveningAt one point most of the spin bikes were broken. I called the directors of the Y etc. No one responded.

The Venice YMCA has friendly employees and a lot of work out options including free weights, weight machines, cardio machines and group classes.I wish they had a few more squat racks but there usually isn't too long of a wait for one as is.

I’ve been a long-standing member of this YMCA, and extremely disappointing, with the lack of follow through and communication from management. One of the few joys that I have with my membership is use of the sauna. I have notified them several times that the current 125° temperature that they have it set to is well below the standard for dry saunas my communications go unresolved and get no response back.

Love my YMCA. Just wish the original mission still existed. Hopefully this location still has a homeless ministry.

Usually I am very happy with the YMCA but recently they started closing the pool and jacuzzi early. I plan my days around the posted pool hours and when you close at 1:00 pm with posted 4pm close time on Saturdays, it just feels very unfair for the members. When asking the young lifeguard, it was stated "that they aren't making enough money to work and to just close it." Very disappointed.

I love the YMCA in Venice. It has so many things to, and it is very spacious. They do a good job at keeping it clean and the staff is very friendly.

Has all the amenities of a Jym of the 80's plus has all the modern facilities. It is so popular that getting a parking space closer than a block is not always possible ?

Not bad. Had everything you'd need to get a good workout in. I never had to wait for anything. Bring your own soap. Their stuff smells like used toothpaste.

We normally use the Englewood YMCA but our Body Combat instructor had to cancel at the last minute. We were able to get a virtual Body Combat class #91 and got a good workout nonetheless. Thanks Venice YMCA!!
