I called the Venice East Pharmacyin Walgreens to ask if they couldfill my Prescription. Vanessa informed me the could. I waited awhile at the Consultation Window to ask a few questions. Iasked if my Insurance would pay for it, and Vanessa told me she had to contact my Insurance to see if they would pay it. I asked her what my cost would be if they didn't. She repeated it. She told me app. 20-25 minutes. When I went back she told me it would be ready soon.I asked if my Ins. would pay & she told me" No." I asked for the cost & she said,"16.49". I wandered near by. She Intercomed my last name. She asked if I was a Walgreens Cash Reward Member. I told her I don't think so, my phone # didn't work months ago. She then told me Millennium sent a wrong phone #. I said ,"Well I guess I need to call them to get it corrected." She said, "Well that's entirely up to you." I said, "Well they called me back last week." I walked out of her view to look at my Millennium papers. It was correct. I walked back to the window & told her it is correct on the papers." Vanessa threw her hands out & said, "Well maybe I put it in wrong!" She didn't offer to correct it. I think my jaw dropped from her aditude & body language. I turned back & said, "Why are you being so Rude?" "Just doing my job, just doing my job." She turned quickly & went behind the wall. I yelled, " I will Never use this Pharmacy again because of you!" I read previous Reviews and I'm sure many Customers searched for a new Pharmacy because of Vanessa ,and perhaps others in the Pharmacy.

My medication is Nwver filled when the automatic system says its ready. As a matter of fact it's Never ready within 4 days of my Dr. Faxing the script over !

The pharmacist employees were exceedingly competent, knowledgeable and friendly. I will be changing my Florida drug store to Walgreens

The staff at this store have been good until recently. The clerks are helpful. The store lead and management are rude and condescending to their clerks and customers. There was a cashier in need of help from management and she called 4 times. One manager came. Gave her a quick response and left. There were 3 managers on duty. I asked to speak with one about a mistake on my $228 purchase and the manager told me he would cancel the order but he is too busy to explain to me what he could do to fix the issue. It was a bad experience for me.
