Our Walgreens pharmacy stays very busy with the volume of prescriptions they receive. They do get even busier during season. In addition to filling prescriptions, as quickly as they can, the pharmacy staff does their very best to answer pharmacy customer phone calls, help customers with over-the-counter medicines, etc. With the pharmacy drive through, you can easily pick up a prescription and be on your way. If you are waiting for a prescription or just doing some in store shopping you can peruse Venice Souvenirs and even purchase Venice High School souvenir clothing as well.

Pharmacy: very inconsistent and overall very poor service. Many mistakes; not enough staff; poor service; some staff are openly and outright rude. The worst pharmacy I have ever used.

Extremely slow and rude pharmacy customer service! I have tried using this Walgreens for years and I’m done with it! Wish they would close and let CVS move in!

Horrible service, no ability and attitude to speak to Pharmacist. They could not tell me if I was billed for a partial order or not, they billed the wrong insurance. It was easier to have my scripts sent somewhere else rather than deal with them again.

Very rude customer service from a pharmacy staff. On several occasions. When asking a question about my prescription, I receive a rude short tone, and she actually interrupts my question by assuming what it is. Then I have to repeat it because what she assumed I was asking, was wrong. This has happened several times. I am not one to leave bad reviews. Customer service training is needed. It's unfortunate, I have been treated rude more then once. I will not be giving my business to 391 Tamiami Walgreens Pharmacy anymore.

AVOID THIS PHARMACY. THEY LITERALLY PUT PATIENTS LIVES AT RISK. Today the pharmacy is randomly closed so I can’t get my medicine that I’m out of. This is life saving medicine. I was told to go to the ER they’ll give me the medicine. So now I have a spend my Sunday in the ER trying to get a medicine I need to stay alive because you don’t know how to run your store?. Thanks. You rest assured this is the last time I will give this HORRIBLE pharmacy a penny of my money.

Avoid this Pharmacy at all costs. Pharmacists are very rude, particularly Sylvia Donas, and block access to prescriptions. The Pharmacists do not respect the doctor/patient relationship and will interfere with it if they choose. Very unprofessional interactions with this pharmacy. I will not be doing business with Walgreens in any capacity going forward due to the customer service at this location.

I am new to town and have to say that I always love a Walgreens. Highly preferred to CVS for me. Unfortunately, there are some younger staff at this particular pharmacy have been incredibly unprofessional and rude over the last 2 weeks. I always want to give people the benefit of the doubt and for the 1st few days of sorting my prescriptions, I had open mind: maybe she doesn't feel well?, crashed her car on the way to work?, stressed about a test?, her dog died? But after several interactions... one person in particular seems to constantly be in a bad mood, never makes eye contact, never smiles, and recently told me with a smirk and annoyed tone "you will just have to be patient." She is not wrong of course.... but the lack of empathy (!) and lack of patience that she is displaying is appalling! She seems angry. Does she hate her job? People come to a pharmacy counter b/c they need something related to health. Consumers are likely to not be feeling well, they may be stressed, nervous, even scared. They need to be greeted by someone empathetic, patient, positive... at the very least... not mean or rude. If she worked on my team, she would be moved to a role where she did not interact with paying customers if her behavior continued after coaching. Who is responsible for managing the non-pharmacist staff? Based on my interaction with her, my opinion is that she needs immediate coaching and feedback on how to work with the public to meet the needs of Walgreens consumers.
