Called to have my prescriptions with 2 refills transferred from my northern pharmacy and the following day I called in to get them filled and was told that the refills were invalid and was told to call my physician (who had recently retired) and this was on Saturday (I only had 2 thyroid pills left and let her know that). I called my northern pharmacy and they informed me that they gave them to information and there should be no issue. Drove 20 minutes in an attempt to clear the issue and was told that they had just called them in, when that is not even the procedure (Winn Dixie pharmacy has to call them). Then I was told that they close in 20 minutes and they would have them ready by tomorrow morning and there was no other customers there.

ZERO stars!!!! DO NOT COME HERE. I understand Venice, fl labor shortages, but this is completely unacceptable. Prescription medications are a MUST have for people. Waited an hour in line since they can’t/won’t answer the phone. 4 people I’d leave but they have my medicine. How is this acceptable? Been trying to call for a week, no answer!! Not the people in the backs fault!! Seriously staffing shortages are a foreseeable problem. No reason for this.

Well, after years with Winn-Dixie pharmacy, Maurice and Vicky went to work elsewhere, and it's not a pharmacy you'd like to go to anymore. Staff has been changed at least twice since Maury and Vicky are gone, it's getting only worse. My bet would be that working conditions are not that great since the pharmacy employee turnover is so high lately. I believe they only have one pharmacist left now, probably without any help - I could not reach them for three days. Pharmacy doesn't update their vaccines availability on the website. Went to two after making an appointment online, second appointment - after pharmacist confirmed that they had CoVID-19 Moderna booster, only to be turned away because they did not have it in stock. No phone call or text from them to cancel neither. Arrrgh

I’d give zero stars if I could. The temps do not have their act together. They never answer the phone so forget that.I ordering my script online, got a text message to pick up, when I got there I was told it was out of stock and it wasn’t ready. The following day I received a message that it would be put back if I didn’t pick it up. Ridiculous. So I went back. They had closed early. Something that they do quite often. At this point I’ve been going without my medicine for a week. I just tried calling and got the message that they’re on a work break. (Should’ve known better than to try calling)Don’t wast your time going to this pharmacy. If you do catch someone there, the line will be 30 minutes long (as of November / December 2021) They are terrible! Now I must go through the trouble of switching pharmacies. I’ve never written a review before but I’m furious and don’t want any one else to have deal with this nightmare.

New to using the Goodrx app, I learned that my Atorvastatin was cheapest at Winn Dixie's pharmacy, so I switched my rx over from CVS. Later, I got a text from Winn Dixie that my meds were ready for pickup. It's kind of a long drive and I wasn't sure that I wanted to fight the traffic today because I have more than a month's worth of my meds left on my old refill. But, the Goodrx discount can change daily, so, I decided it was worth my time and the road risk and stress to lock in the cheap price and pick them up. Then I thought, let me call first so there is no mistake about the price - I didn't want to go there just for the purpose of saving some money and then learn there is a different actual price. I called, explained that I would be using the Goodrx app and told them what the discounted price was to be according to GoodRX. I was assured it would be that same price. Went. Got there, and was surprised to learn it was actually a lower price. First, I was happy to save even more, but then I thought, maybe there is something amiss, better check the info on the bottle. Turns out, it was a refill for 30 pills, not 90. That meant I was paying more per pill than what I had been told. I was not happy. I checked the Goodrx app and learned that if I were only getting 30 pills, there were cheaper and closer pharmacies than Winn Dixie. Really not happy. To save a little of my loss, I asked the pharmacist, Victoria Fisher, to correct her price with GoodRX's 30 count discount and she agreed, but was super snarky, saying, "Sure, we don't have anything better to do than redo prescriptions we've already filled." I told her that I didn't have anything better to do than to call ahead to confirm the price on my meds, be told one thing and drive all this way to learn it was something else. Will not be seeing the snarky pharmacist again.
