More expensive than Publix and they “don’t have time to answer the phone and give prices”. Definitely won’t be back.

Pasture raised and pasture finished meats!!! Delicious meats - especially love their homemade sausages, simply the tastiest - and yes, I did say homemade! Thank you for being a part of our town!

The meats are fine, nothing special by any stretch of the imagination. If a shop is not offering anything special then their service should be exceptional. This is not the case. If your mission for your business is to torpedo it with your off putting personality then this review would be 5 stars. I don't like rude people and this is no exception. If your business is to deal with the public, then be nice. I am not here to help this business at all but to point out that some people, the owner should not interact with people. Perhaps an under management course would be appropriate

Good selection of beef and pork as well as a large selection of prepared foods and Italian meats and cheeses. We found tritips and aged steaks while searching all over.

OK, so I'm a pretty good cook. I like to think I can cook anything, but sometimes you just don't want to! If you just want something delish, nutritious and home-style but can't be bothered to sweat over a stove, stop by and check out their prepared frozen meals. Don't tell me you don't want these meatballs, lol.

I have been shopping at this store for several years now. I am not a big meat eater, but family members are and each time we purchase any meat from them everyone raves about it! I often buy many of the prepared foods and I consider myself to be a pretty good cook. This is the only store in the county where I continue to purchase prepared foods because it is the only place where the food is as good as I can prepare. The demand for their prepared food is ever- growing due to word of mouth praise so I often have to wait for some of my favs, but it is well worth the wait! Obviously, things are busier from October through Mother's Day, but the owner and staff have always greeted me and my family members with a smile and take the time to answer any questions. In season the store is busy, but they see customers in order and they take whatever time a customer needs. They insist on only purchasing the best meats and vegetables, so since the pandemic they sometimes have difficulty getting the quality they need and they may be out of a product until they can secure the quality of product they demand. I hope they never close up shop! Vero is fortunate to have them.

The sausage had no flavor or taste. I was very disappointed. Made our traditional borscht soup for Easter and it had no taste. Plus it was very expensive. I will go back to my butcher down south from no on.

They treat their employees terrible and talk trash about all the customers. It’s an extremely toxic work environment and even after not working their for over a year now (they fired me after I went out of town because I had a huge loss in my family and my car broke down and I couldn’t make it back in enough time that was convenient for them), they still talk to me terribly and call me names. It’s completely unprofessional and I wouldn’t bother wasting your $$ here. I will no longer refer to this establishment to anyone.

Very expensive , you might say over priced! They The weigh your meat wrapped. Some of the staff members are thoroughly knowledgeable on meat quality or terms and butchering. $31 a pound for a ribeye steak or a prime rib? When you can get the same quality meats if you know where to look for on a prime grade cut for a third of the price! Look around shop around but if you're in a hurry they got good quality meat that taste good but you're going to pay for it!

I've purchased stroganoff, chicken pot pie, and frozen Italian pastry. Closest I've gotten to the Butcher Shoppe is some sausage that we enjoyed very much. Quality is excellent, and I look forward to future shopping visits.

First time in and got pork shoulder for making Hawaiian Kahlua Pork. They were able to cut me a bone in roast on site (call to order the boneless, I was happy with bone in). Better selection and quality than average grocery shops like Publix. Was pleasantly surprised to see lamb, duck, charcuterie meats, cheeses and in-house aged beef and more. All American sourced, no imports!

These people were absolute jerks eliciting all the charm of wet toilet paper. As to the beef, the cupboard was bare. If he had any exciting beef in a back refrigerator they weren't about to show it to us. Note that Black Angus is a type of cow and not necessarily prime. You are far better off going to FRESH Market. They have a fine selection of prime beef at a far better price. Once burned twice foolish. We are never going back.

This butcher shop offers the best of everything and the cooking advice one needs to enjoy it the most. Just going there is half the fun, with going home to a wonderful meal the other half. Their meats are simply the best, as are their pre-prepared meals, and their prices are a very pleasant surprise.
