I have been a customer of Aarons for years now, and for some reason we always get dicked around... Clearest and easy way to say how these employees and managers work... I have had issues with just about everything that I have bought. They have had my television now for 3 weeks or more and still sitting in their shop, hasn't even left... PLEASE DO NOT BOTHER WITH AARONS... GO TO BADCOCK THEY ARE SO MUCH NICER AND BETTER QUALITY!!!!!!

I have been using Aaron's or Rent a Center for 15 years. This is by far the best store I've dealt with. I have been with them for four years now. Rented and paid off multiple items so far and have a couple right now. The management and staff have always been nice and willing to help. I have never had a problem here. Recently a few of my items have been too big for me to pick up like I usually do. So, I have had them delivered. The process was very easy to set up... The delivery driver we have had multiple times now, Ross, has been very nice, helpful, and professional. We are moving into a new place and our lot is not laid out too efficiently. He had to park the truck way out in the corner by the road. With a smile, he loaded up the washer and dryer and rolled them halfway across my yard and hooked them up quickly and efficiently, and was out in a snap. He has done a great job each time. I really am happy with my experiences with all aspects of this store from management, staff, and delivery guys.

My shopping experience was great, I loved my couch! I got the club membership on it and it sounded great, and affordable, I got exactly what I was looking for. My house caught fire in may, causing smoke damage to everything. On the club it specifically says it covers smoke damage so I filed my claim through the store. I tried to buy another couch in the mean time so I’d have something for my new house, the guy in the store said come back the next day and it would be $1000 cheaper! I came back the next 4 days and he kept saying they were waiting on the manager to approve the price reduction. I would have paid the full price but it was getting complicated so I bought a cheap $500 temporary couch on Facebook. Here I am in October, can’t get an email reply from the club, I’ve attempted calling the store and they were supposed to call back by the end of the day but did not, and have not replied to my email either. I’m still paying for the club membership and the couch monthly, starting to feel like they are gonna leave me pending until I pay the couch off.

Getting setup with Aaron's was a breeze. Everyone has always been extremely helpful and professional. I was extremely impressed. The only issue I have had is this. Twice in my year renting a washer and dryer from them I have not been able to pay them on time. Only 2 times in a year. Maybe not the best on my part but instead of calling them to let them know that my payment would be late I didn't really think it would be a big issue to pay a little late as with most companies there is usually some type of grace period. Not with Aaron's. The next day after my bill was due I got my first phone call. Unfortunately they called while I was busy so I would get a voice-mail and then kept forgetting to call back as my life can be really busy. They called everyday. I didn't really keep track at first how many days had gone by. I was going to be paying them out of my next paycheck and kept getting sidetracked with life and literally just kept forgetting to call them to let them know. I don't think I realized what an issue this was also as I had done this before with other bills if things were tight and I was trying to balance my bills and it was never ever an issue so I didn't make it a huge priority. Then they came to my house to see what was going on. Mind you it had probably been 2 weeks since my bill was due but still within the same month. I was upset. I called and spoke to a very nice manager who explained this was their process and I had the money that day I went ahead and paid for 2 months. Then recently it happened again. Same situation. I've barely had enough money to get groceries this month. I have been shutting down. Again I should have called them to let them know what was going on but I didn't know when I could pay them and was gonna wait to call when I knew I could swing it. They showed up at my house again. Called everyday before that. I had it coming I knew it but this time I called them after the house visit apologized and told them what day I could call back to pay. The man assured me that was fine and notated my account. Now the date has not passed of the day I said I would call to pay and I am still getting 1 call a day and an occasional text message to call the store. This really feels like harassment. I understand it's their product but I do not appreciate their customer service at all when you cannot make a payment on time. Life happens. I should have communicated much better I admit but in my only defense I have never ever experienced anything like this EVER. I have MANY bills. And yes because we live paycheck to paycheck I sometimes have to pay things a little late bug they always get paid in the same month and really as soon as possible. They should have some type of grace period atleast a few days. To me this is very unprofessional and again I realize they are entitled to the money I need to pay them and I should have communicated much better. But this to me is very unprofessional especially after I called them back to let them know what was going on.

This is the best store. They are always willing to help you. Cynthia is the manager and she goes out on a limb for you. I have been at this Aarons for 4 yrs. They truly care about you and your family.

I would be VERY weary to purchase from this store. My husband and I were going to purchase a computer for the cash price, since we didn't need financing and it looked like a good deal. Apparently, in this store "cash price" means CASH ONLY. Their reasoning was because someone purchased an item from them using debit, then they disputed the charge later on and the company lost out on the money. Coming from a financial background, the only way the company would have lost their money on a claim would be if THEY couldn't prove that the client purchased the item from that store- which using a debit card goes through a merchant system= proof of sale & price. This begs the question- Do they not keep proper record keeping? Are these items obtained illegally so they couldn't prove the sale? Very concerning.

Absolutely horrible. I was in a tight bind because my laptop broke early in the afternoon. So I figured I could get a decent laptop to get me through school until payday and maybe buy a new one but nope. I bought the laptop and brought it hope. I began to set it up with my emails and school emails, websites to submit my assignments, install my Microsoft office and a few other apps to it ...... but wouldn’t you know. It’s locked by management. I can’t do squat. Absolutely nothing. I was told I’d have to wait until tomorrow to see if they can do anything. I think it’s only fair for them to upgrade the laptop, especially since it was one of their more expensive laptops they had. I will not be going back nor will I ever recommend it as even an option in an emergency. I give them a negative 1 star.
