hired the company to transfer my website to a new host, they explained they wd need to redo website at a certain amount. i agreed and let them know it wd need to be don’t by friday 1/19/24. i called today to find out the employee handling the project was no longer there and they couldn’t help me VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY #hacks ! do not waste your $$

ACT was highly recommended by our IT guy Andy from my workplace. My son was looking for upgrades for his gaming computer. Andy set us up with Michael at the ACT store. Upon arrival Michael immediately met us and gave us many options on upgrading my son's computer. After discussion he also recommended a new gaming computer he had recently built that was upgraded well above our current one. We decided to go ahead and purchase the new one as it made more sense with the cost, benefits and features of the new one. The same day we were able to pick it up a couple hours later. After my son was gaming a few hours I asked him what he thought. He was so thrilled and happy. It was everything and more for what he was looking for. I highly recommend ACT computer store and no doubt ask for Michael. He knows his stuff. Thank you again.Ron L

I was charged $60 (reduced to $45) for a quote on my laptop, when it was never mention verbally or written prior to leaving my laptop with this place. Truly ridiculous and this information needs to be written down somewhere so consumers know what they are getting into. Jeff was a nice employee though, no hard feelings towards him.

My 2014 Toshiba laptop was running slow because the 1TB hard drive was failing. Replaced with a 2 TB SSD drive. Replaced 8 MB RAM with 16 MB. Runs better than new now.

On a limited budget, because I work as a server, in Vero Beach and it’s summer time, I decided to check out act computers to see if they were more economical than Best Buy or Walmart. It turned out they were much less expensive and they were knowledgeable and honest! I was able to pick out a significant, large and powerful desk top computer that was listed for $399. After explaining my computing needs to Preston he proceeded install a NIVIDIA graphics card a friend had given me and a new power supply. The next day I left ACT with the new computer and the total cost was $506.About three weeks after I got the computer howsomething happened and it would not operate. The rumors were that the motherboard had been fried somehow. So I took it back to ACT where Cameron quickly wrote a service ticket and postulated that the fix would cost anywhere in between $100-$350. He said that he would call me later advise me of the full price. A couple hours later Cameron contacted me and advise that it was simple software update and it would cost $105. Total bill for this previously owned Computerworld $611. Thanks to Preston and Cameron, who were diligent, honest, and we’re very considerate of my time.I highly recommend that anybody who is in the market for a new laptop or desktop computer or needs a repair to their existing computer, contact or visit act computers in Vero Beach. An amazing buying and service experience from beginning to end!

What a Treasure here on the Treasure Coast!If you have a technical question or issue please contact Act Computers in Vero Beach. My laptop lost its Wi-Fi late this afternoon. I called Act Computers and spoke with Cameron who offered to take a look if I wanted to bring it in. Within five minutes Cameron had the issue resolved!What a true testament to customer service!!

I don't recommend.Not reliable,job not complete date promised.Was charged about 4 times more than same business,for same job!Extremely pricey,Per other business in industry, job done not accurate,data risked for loss.Unacceptable.Poor customer service.

Hi Jurgen, Thanks so much for having Brien create an essential knob for me, my oven now is usable without getting out my screwdriver every morning. I did not replace the oven as I could not find a new one that fit so well in my kitchen and the replacement from Black & Decker did not fit. Always amazed at the new innovations coming down the road that are becoming more commonplace every day. Will pass along the news and kudos about this success story.

Charged $60 Bucks for Diagnosis of a Cracked Screen on A Laptop! Is that not the stupidest thing I have ever heard. He said I paid to have him look up Screens to fix it with. Seriously??????

I use my computer for gaming and work. I was having some issues booting into windows. I took my computer to ACT and not only did they fix the problem but this is probably the best my computer has operated since I built it. Awesome customer service and professionalism as well.
