Tried to get basic information today on my tank, how deep it is supposed to be, am I still on auto delivery? (I think I I switched to on-demand), how long do these tanks last? Do they safety inspect them everytime they fill them? Should someone periodically check line to house and stove for safety? Do I really need a 250 lb tank for 1 stove? My tank is very shallow-hit it with shovel while moving a little sand. Customer service is a joke. Only spoke to people in a foreign county(India is my guess). Although they were pleasant they were useless. Is there an actual local office I can visit and ask questions????

Terrible experience. I would pay triple to any other company to service tank before I do business with Amerigas again.

In spite of the awful weather the driver did a great job.

Overall terrible and very costly service. The service tech claimed he detected a small leak at the pressure valve. He proceeded to BURN off the tank since he said he couldn't fix it unless it was empty. He burned the gas for close to 10 hrs and gave up. Apparently his equipment was faulty since he thought the tank was low. It wasn't! AmeriGas then charged me over $4000 for his time ... and they didn't even fix it. Plus they wasted a ton of gas in my tank. After complaining they "adjusted" the charge to over $2100. Thanks, AmeriGas, for wasting a ton of my propane, not fixing the issue, and charging me for the terrible experience.
Go elsewhere. I understand Palmdale Oil is pretty good.

I don't even need to be home! The guy just shows up and fills us when I call. AND it turns out my gauge was faulty. I thought I was on E and wasn't. So he corrected it and only sold me what I really needed. Saved me a ton of money. Thank you to my driver!

I called, ordered a refill. Delivery was made by a pleasant service attendant. Plus, AmeriGas is very understanding, in allowing me to make payments, for my purchase. ??????????

Amerigas no longer leases propane tanks in my area so I had to purchase one and pay for them to remove their old tank. After that expense, the contract in their system still shows that I lease the tank. Customer service acknowledges that the equipment is mine but they refuse to correct the error so I am not able to use their online system

Terrible customer service. I'm currently out of gas and was told it would be 7-10 days until delivery.
I asked if I could expedite service and was told I would need to pay $300 plus cost of gas upfront. I've been a customer for 5 years and my service has always been billed automatically to my credit card. When I tried to explain this all to the man who answered my service call he told me that it was not true. I think I should know how I'm billed but he continued to argue with me. I then asked to speak to a supervisor and he hung up.
This is not the way to keep a customer.

We had a delivery last April and an issue with the address. It took 9 months, many many phone calls to get resolved. Your customer service dept is horrendous. Only got it resolved thru a mutual friend.

I do not like that I can not speak to someone in person or from this country. There is a communication barrier that is difficult to over come. They over estimated me by almost $500 and now that money is sitting in my account and I can't get it back. Tried calling to have the money returned to me but haven't been able to communicate with them properly. Also, they sold me on having my tank safety check but then was told I didn't need that. Only if the tank is completely empty. So I paid extra for that but refused service to my home unless I paid for the check. Never received a notification that anyone was coming. They just showed up.

You never came to check my system, after I told you we lost 188 gallons of propane in a month. You have done nothing but bill me exorbitant fees.
