I called, ordered a refill. Delivery was made by a pleasant service attendant. Plus, AmeriGas is very understanding, in allowing me to make payments, for my purchase. ??????????

Amerigas no longer leases propane tanks in my area so I had to purchase one and pay for them to remove their old tank. After that expense, the contract in their system still shows that I lease the tank. Customer service acknowledges that the equipment is mine but they refuse to correct the error so I am not able to use their online system

I do not like that I can not speak to someone in person or from this country. There is a communication barrier that is difficult to over come. They over estimated me by almost $500 and now that money is sitting in my account and I can't get it back. Tried calling to have the money returned to me but haven't been able to communicate with them properly. Also, they sold me on having my tank safety check but then was told I didn't need that. Only if the tank is completely empty. So I paid extra for that but refused service to my home unless I paid for the check. Never received a notification that anyone was coming. They just showed up.

It is difficult to get in touch with a local office or person in the USA. There is an office 3 blocks from my house, but I cannot talk to anyone there. I have run out of gas twice and your customer service rep even admitted that it was Ameri Gas' fault because they changed our account without our knowledge.

First year using propane. I preferred AmeriGas to the other company in town. Used it one time, during the Hurricane Nicole. I thought they had an office in Vero Beach. They do not!!!!! Or there is never anyone there. Because of this after we had the tank filled after Ian, I got an invoice from the driver, but no address to mail a bill. After 3 weeks had passed, I just wrote a check and mailed it to the address on the invoice with the invoice number. That was 10/12. Two days ago I received a bill for that amount plus a late charge which wasn’t my fault. I tried to call the office but no answer. Today I had to stop payment on that check, which still hasn’t been cashed, meaning it’s been lost or something, and pay $30 to put a stop payment on that check. So my bill came to $196.34, from what was supposed to be $130.64, and a late payment fee of $36. So we have decided to go with the other company in town and not America Gas. Not very professional to serve an area without an in town office.

Wish I had an option for 0 stars. Deceitful, mistake riddled, poor customer service. Call any other local gas purveyor unless you would like to be lied to and then charged anyways for their technicians mistakes.

We have been loyal customers for five years, then corporate, I guess, decided to please shareholders and move the customer service to the Philippines! You think you are dialing a local number...nope, go straight to the Philippines. I can't get a precise date for the refill off the internet site that's supposed to be so great, its been "coming shortly" for two weeks. Keep your jobs local, support the local economy where your customers are. Keep a local pereon answering the phones. If they could out source the drivers from other countries, im sure they would. Should change their name to anti american gas and propane. Am looking into changing providers.

Poor Off-Shore Support. Both agents spoke broken English and were very hard to understand and failed to notify the on-call driver of an emergency delivery.

We have used Amerigas for our propane in the past with nothing but glowing reviews. We recently had a new propane tank installed by Americas (actually probably a subcontractor). When we arrived home, they had cut the cable line, broken the irrigation line, cut the line to our landscape lights and our post light. We had 4 wires sticking out of the ground (one that was live we found out the next day...total safety. hazard!). The worst part is that they did not notify anyone of the damage, including the electric/generator company that they contracted with and when you call the number, it now goes to a central number that the first 2 people I spoke to had poor English and just kept asking if I wanted to schedule an appointment. Totally frustrated with the process. Would be nice if you could actually speak to someone related to the company

I asked for my tank not to be filled since I will moving in a month or two and Ididn’t want to pay for lots of gas and guess what they shut it off. It used to be you could talk to a local human and figure out what happened…not now you are sent to who knows where and talk to a person with a script who, in my case, did not do anything but talking points. So disappointed since I;ve used them since 1986….I guess they don’t care..and I hope I can find another gas dealer to change to in my new home
