“Popped in here with my friends when we were on vacation in Fort Pierce/Vero Beach. I have a thing for sharks and octopi and also for quirky, outside the norm art so how could I not! I love the lobster trap frames on the art work and the paintings by the local shelter dogs. I did purchase a Tervis Tumbler while I was there to make all my friends jealous of my drink attire!”

“I’m a new glass collector, it’s always been something that has interested me from an artistic and visual standpoint. I lived in Seattle for a few years and had the privilege to visit the Chihuly museum of glass several times. From that point on I knew someday I would get into the world of glass collecting. A short time into my glass collecting journey I happened to find the laughing dog gallery which fortunately is only a mile from my home. When I walked in I was immediately impressed. The store layout is beautiful with exquisite glass from American artists from around the country. Many of the artists I saw online as being the best in their specialties of glass are on display at the laughing dog gallery. I have purchased a few pieces over the last several weeks from the gallery. I will say Susie, Tara, and Sandy have been great. They are extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful which I greatly appreciate. This is my new go to shop for my glass collecting. If your in the vero beach area and enjoy art especially glass this is definitely a place you will want to visit. The art and the gallery are beautiful, and everyone at laughing dog gallery is knowledgeable and genuinely friendly. Thanks again laughing dog gallery see you soon.”

“Just found out about this place ao i went and checked it out. Very reasonable and had a nice variety. They had measuring tapes in case you needed one.. Great idea! They have a big sale which made some pieces very affordable. What i really loves ia he didn't follow me around the store and try to sell me... He allowed me to browse.. Thank you!!”

“You can find The Blue Octopus across the railroad tracks from Icon Brewery. On a recent trip to Vero Beach I had fun exploring this furniture and home goods store specializing in Treasure Coast inspired reclaimed wood furniture, coastal art, and nautical accessories.I like how the Blue Octopus has pieces for your home that you won't see anywhere else. From large pieces of furniture to decorative touches everything is so unique. Some of my favorites in the store were the buffet with carved sea turtles, Great Blue Heron art, a shark coming out from the wall, and swimming mermaids. I love the soothing colors, light woods, white, and the blues of the ocean. I was greeted with a friendly hello and prices seemed very reasonable too. If you are a fan of coastal decor there will be so many things you will want.”

“We bought a sculpture from Travis that we had looked at for awhile. The installation in our home went extremely well. It is the focus piece in our moderately contemporary home. We love it so much, we had a party with the sculpture and Travis as the focus. Not only do we love the piece day after day, we continually visit the gallery and studio during the once a month gallery stroll in Vero Beach. All the women do beautiful work and are beautiful people.”

“Trish painted a beautiful custom piece for a specific area in my house. It is a delightful abstract wave painting. I discovered her gallery unexpectedly and I am so glad I did. I was in Vero Beach visiting family and saw several pieces of her work in a restaurant. We stopped in to just take a look around. After several conversations, mainly about the best color options, Trish went to work and I couldn't wait to see the finished painting. Unfortunately, I had to wait several weeks! My sister drove over to my side of the state this past weekend with the painting. I couldn't be more thrilled with the results!! “What a place. In high school I actually attended a prom here, which was super fun. Great venue for dancing. In more recent years, I have come here for art exhibits and they are high quality. Staff is super friendly and the sculpture garden is great.I do wonder why they have such a large parking lot. I hope they share it with adjacent businesses.”
