Have received nothing but understanding, kindness and compassion from any of the staff here. Truly a fantastic place for children to learn and grow! My toddler absolutely adores his teachers and is excited to go to school. Mr. Gemmell, the director, has gone above and beyond for my son and our family, especially while dealing with some behavioral issues. And my son absolutely considers Ms. Audra to be his best friend in the whole world. I cannot say enough good things about this place. Highly recommend for any parents looking to enroll their child in early education. My son has grown in leaps and bounds since he started attending here.

I have been blown away by the experience I've had so far at Christ Church of Vero Beach. Bruce Gammell from my first tour made us feel warm and invited. Standards and faith based curriculum is exceptional. During the first few weeks my son could count to 25 before age 3. It being his first school experience he had only one day of separation anxiety because they loved on him and nurtured him through it. I get pictures and updates anytime I need them from teachers. Bruce Gammell is always willing to sit down with our family and help in any way. From potty training advice to behavioral issues he has been there for us. We are so excited to see this school and church grow and the staff goes above and beyond for our children as it should be.

I loved my children's teachers, 5 stars for their love, care and effort. I truly feel that they tried their hardest. 0 stars for the director of the school. In the beginning I received what felt like heartfelt warm good mornings and conversations. Which then turned into not even a glance. If I did get a glance, I quickly got a turned back and cold shoulder. After attending other preschools, I learned that he does not fit the role of a director. Personally, I will never send my children to a school that is not overseen by DCF due to religious exemption. I feel the director makes the rules up as it suits him best. He attempts to fit as many kids as possible into a classroom and hope his teachers can handle it. Which is why I say the teachers truly try their hardest. I will say the building is quite new and the entire facility is very clean and organized. My children went here for multiple years before ultimately switching to another school due to the toxicity between the director and I. He was very friendly & chatty with me up until I no longer fit into his plan. I participated in the schools gala committee when the kids attended here. Helping raise money to further the school into more than just a preschool, adding on lower and upper grades. I did then & still do believe in this school— it could really be something. They have since then started a Parents Committee and I fully believe in the parents involved in the committee to help grow Christ Church Academy. In my opinion, the director is only thing hindering this schools future.

Our son has loved being a student at Christ Church Academy. Mr. Gammell does an incredible job as the Head of the school and we couldn’t ask for more amazing teachers than the two we were blessed with: Mrs Jones and Mrs Johnson. We have thoroughly enjoyed watching our son thrive in this environment full of love, respect and learning. When we return to Vero Beach, we look forward to being a part of CCA as they grow and expand in the future.

Sometimes it is best not to say anything but I just can’t keep silent anymore. I would not trust anyone here. They are not anything like Jesus. The recent positive reviews are from the preschool. Any positive reviews of the church are from the 923 Community which they dismantled. The way they destroyed an entire community is disgusting. They shut the door and continued to pursue those of us who believed in the mission. My husband and I were contributing members of both Christ Church and 923 Community and they didn’t have the decency to treat him with respect. We have followed Richard Demsick, and will continue to do so. Richard is a “Nathaniel” a true man of God in whom there is no deceit. He loves all people no matter what.Christ Church wants to wear the name of Christ but only let you in if you are “perfect”. Jesus would say you are nothing but a den of vipers.

Christ Church Academy in Vero Beach has been a fantastic decision for my Wife and I as well as for our Daughter.CCA has an amazing amount of teachers that surrounds, supports, and nurtures our child, and the internal staff cannot do enough for us. We are thankful to have our daughter attend a school so established in the endeavor of a Christian upbringing. The teachers have had a major impact on our daughters life, they have been encouraging and have guided our daughter to help in developing her high character and moral standard.Leadership within the school is well invested in teaching the values of Christ and they are passionate about education and the lives of all the children. Since enrolling our daughter in CCA we have not had any negative experiences with the staff. Christ Church Academy has been a true blessing in our lives, and I believe that it will continue to have a positive impact on our daughter in the future.CCA has provided a warm, safe, fun and challenging environment for our child and I would highly recommend this school for any parent looking for Christ centered teachings as well. Thank you to all the staff that take the time and care to invest in all the kids. We pray and ask that God continues to bless this school.Joseph KeeganVero Beach

Amazing preschool. I love the teachers here, they invest SO MUCH knowledge and love into our children. The director himself is top notch. CCA is a very safe and loving environment for your little ones. I couldn't have asked for a better place to send my kids. The teachers are in constant contact with you and there are many parent friendly events during the year to get to know the teachers and staff and other students. The kids learn so much through stem activities, songs, outdoor play, etc. Thank you CCA!

My three year old son was in two other schools in town before Christ Church Academy (CCA). Those schools didn't work with my wife and I on correcting some behavioral issues that he had, and just told us to go to his pediatrician about them. We decided that those schools weren't the best fit for him and decided to apply to CCA after hearing great reviews. After enrolling with CCA, the staff and Director noticed trends in my son's behavior and promptly provided constructive and positive input at a parent-teacher conference to improve his behavior both at home and in the classroom. Over the last two years they have consistently and positively worked with us to guide our son who was labeled as a "problem child" at the previous two schools in town. Our son loves his teachers and frequently talks about them and all of the things he has been learning (particularly STEM subjects). We have seen much improvement in his behavior and now our one year old daughter attends CCA as well. They are both thriving in this positive and structured environment. The Director, Bruce Gammell, and all of the staff have been professional, caring, and a real blessing to my family!

A good portion of any of the positive reviews for this church were because of the 923 Church, which Keith Allen and the leadership at Christ Church did away with. The childcare here is lousy. The bishops, fathers, and other “leaders” seem to care about only a couple of things: money, power, and politics. There is no compassion from anybody in leadership at this “church”. There is a surface-level pretty building with a lot of darkness behind the scenes. There is no love of Christ being exhibited. I see no community outreaching, I see no good coming from anything they’re doing, but what I do see is them GOING OUT OF THEIR WAY to hurt and silence people they disagree with—including those they were responsible for leading—in the name of Jesus Christ. If you really want to find out about what Jesus is all about , please don’t go to this building to find out. I’d never, ever ever publicly blast a local business, let alone a church, but it’s for sure time people speak up about the leadership at Christ Church.

Anything but Christ-like. It’s pretty crazy that they actually have staff members who don’t actually believe in the message of Christ. They spend more time trying to stifle people that want to share the gospel than they do actually sharing the gospel itself.

Our two children were enrolled in Christ Church Academy summer program. They were welcomed with kindness. All the staff treated our kids with a nurturing spirit. Additionally, there was daily prayer which is important in our house. Our children came home happy!
