“Yes, it's a lot of fun here.
Food and the friendship or spectacular.
Do you like italian food? This is the place. I've been to several italian clubs and this is right up there with the best of them. Chow bono.”
“I have worked in homeless services for many years and have visited countless shelters, outreach programs, and nonprofit models across the country. I can honestly say that my experience at The Source left a lasting impact on me in a way very few places ever have.
From the moment I arrived, I could feel that this was more than a service organization. There was dignity in the atmosphere. There was intentionality in the way people were welcomed, spoken to, and cared for. Every detail reflected compassion, structure, and genuine love for people who are often overlooked by society.
What moved me most was seeing Christ-centered service lived out in such a tangible and authentic way. The Source understands that people need more than meals or temporary assistance. They need community, purpose, accountability, hope, and people willing to truly walk beside them.
As someone who has dedicated much of my life to serving individuals experiencing homelessness, I left inspired, humbled, and deeply grateful for the opportunity to learn from this incredible organization.
Thank you to Tony Zorbaugh and the entire team for welcoming me so warmly and for the work you are doing to restore dignity and change lives every single day?”

“Indian River Habitat for Humanity markets previously owned merchandise for reasonable prices. The extensive area of their showroom displays a plethora of home goods, such as furniture, appliances, books, kitchen cabinets, and clothing. The variety of furniture includes sofas, chairs, lounges and tables for living rooms, table and chair sets for kitchens or dining rooms, beds, dressers and night stand sets for bedrooms. Multifarious styles and genres of furniture are displayed, and prices are much less than new items. Dishes, glassware, serving ware and kitchen utensils are available. As with their furniture, there are numerous styles, designs and patterns of kitchen ware. The Habitat is a great place to decorate your home at lower prices.”
“My husband and I went on the Pontoon Boat tour for the volunteers at the ELC. We had a wonderful time listening to our volunteer tour guide and captain Marty who informed us about the names of the spoiler islands that we saw and gave us great insight to what’s being done to improve the quality of the Indian River Lagoon.
We enjoyed quite the dolphin show along with several bird species and saw an Oyster Fisher for the first time! The weather was perfect and we were treated to delicious snacks and libations on the tour. The ELC is a great place to volunteer and Brittany was a perfect host serving all the goodies and always with a smile on her face.
Thank you so very much ELC. We appreciate you too !
