I have been using CVS for years to fill prescriptions. I switched to this CVS store 8495 US-1, Vero Beach, Fl 32967 because I recently moved.I generally do not write or read reviews but feel that this review is warranted, in attempt to someone else from going through the same mess.I get and alert 2/26/24 on my phone that my Rx for CAR is being filled. And please bring any Insurance information to the store with you.The woman that took my info was very nice but the issue is this woman named Jill, I am assuming she is the head Pharmacist, she wears a white lab coat, late 50's blonde hair, works off to the drop off side of the counter. My first encounter with her was a some months back. On 03/01/24 The woman that took my Insurance card took it over to Jill. I stood there for a bit, then i said excuse me ma'am how long but she cut me off with a very rude attitude! i was trying to let her know that i had my disable wife out side in the car but at that point my blood pressure was going up so at that time i decided to leave the store with out my medication. If my prescription card from my employer gave me and option to get my prescription elsewhere i would drop CVS because Jill gives CVS a bad name. The first interaction was at the drive - through, it was a day that she made me think i was doctor shopping. I'm so done with Jill and her RUDE attitude. Before i have to tell her about the rude attitude she has towards people with no understanding, everyone is stressed out and busy and it is not appropriate for her to be that way to people.I am so frustrated to shop at CVS store with Jill being rude to people.

If you’re lucky enough to get Dr Chuck, you’re ahead. This guy knows it all and I like his style, more like the North. He was spot on with my COPD info. Leola Sherman

I have been using CVS for over 20 years to fill prescriptions. I switched to this CVS because I have recently moved.I generally do not write or read reviews but feel that this review is warranted, in attempt to someone else from going through the same mess.I get the alerts on my phone that the scripts are ready for pickup. Now both times I went, was around 4 o'clock PM, perhaps this is not the ideal time?? When I go to pick them up that they are not ready. I asked as to why I get a text stating they are ready, their response is that the computers send out the texts based on average times to fill the scripts and they are very backed up, which they were. The issue is this woman named JIll, I am assuming she is a Pharmacist, she wears a white lab coat, late 50's, works off to the drop off side of the counter. My first encounter with her was when I was asking about why I received my meds in a different form, ( from the girl at the counter ), Jill interjected and said that is what the doctor put on the slip and that if I wanted it changed I would have to call them and ask. Wonderful, she was rude, loud and very uncaring. So I ate that one due to the fact it was busy and I needed that med.The second interaction was when I got amoxicillin for my daughter. Again, the meds were not ready for pickup, only partial filling, I was told to come back the next day around noon. So I did, 4 pm. GREAT!!Ahhh no. The amoxicillin was over 100$, so I asked the girl at the counter as to why so expensive??Jill interjected again from across the counter that this was the price and would have to call the doctor to get it changed. I looked it up on good rx, it was 11$.Now I never used good rx and was unfamiliar with it. To change any med I guess you have to go through Jill, who during this time she was loud and rude with other customers and her own staff. So the girl at the counter said I needed to speak with Jill, awesome.I approached her and she immediately said I needed to sit and wait until she was ready. I did, she then called me over to re-bill the med. She was asking for my prescription card which I don't have, it was the good rx app. I told her I didn't have one, she began getting loud and stating that I need to have these things ready.I stopped her there, I told her I never used his app and was unfamiliar with the process, also I switched insurances recently and was unsure what was covered for meds. I was trying to expedite things by having things ready. I told her you don't have to be so rude, she stated that she is very busy and that she is not rude. I explained to her that you need to have a little understanding, everyone is stressed out and busy and it is not appropriate for her to be that way.I eventually left after more than an hour and a half. Frustrated. I have shopped at the CVS before and heard her halfway through the store being rude to people. Please save yourself some grief don't fill your meds there, very unorganized, busy and downright rude.

WARNING!!! Do not ever come to this pharmacy!! I promise you if every costumer could leave a review 9 out of 10 would be horrible!! I have personally watch them mistreat so many patients with no regard for their well being!I have a nephew that worked there for a while and the situations that he witnessed were horrible at the very minimum. They do not care about the patients! They only care about what is good for them. I promise you that if you go here you will regret it at the highest levels. This review is only to warn the people but much more can be done. Pharmacist shouldn’t play god. Especially the two female pharmacist!!I believe one is Jill and the other has a similar name. I’m going to post this everywhere. Pharmacist like those two shouldn’t be allowed to run a pharmacy let alone work in a medical field! I’d like to see if it was someone they loved was in a medication needy situation how they would feel if they were treated horribly. But then again for who believes in karma believes that you will receive exactly what you give! I hope you all take this review and everyone else that also left reviews trying to warn you of this pharmacy! They have no heart and are the coldest people I have met in my entire 70+ years of life. Good luck to you all.Unfortunately they force you to leave a star or else I would have went with a -5. Lol Just a little humor for a terrible situation.

My drug insurance plan requires me to use CVS as my Pharmacy. Since moving to Vero Beach in 2011, I have used the one on 53rd St and US 1. However, 18 months ago, my experience with that pharmacy was so poor that I moved my prescriptions to the one at CR 510 and US 1. To save time and gas money, I try to synch my prescriptions so that I can pick up more than one at a time. This has worked fine until recently when I discovered that two of my prescriptions that I have been taking for years had disappeared from my drug list. I use the CVS App to conduct most of my business. For some reason, when I call it takes forever to get a human on the line - often 10 minutes or more. Their automated telephone system has changed several times over the past year, causing more confusion than efficiency. I have complained to the local pharmacy and have written letters to. CVS Corporate Office, to no avail. When I found that two of my prescriptions had disappeared from the drug list, I had to call the pharmacy - the App did not have sufficient options to allow me to solve the issue without talking to someone. One of the drugs was Testosterone 10 mg pump. I notified the pharmacy assistant about the omission of the drugs and she said she had no idea why the drugs were not shown on the App, and that I would have to have my physician write another prescription. I asked her if her computer showed that I had taken the drug before and if so, couldn’t she send an email or fax to my physician requesting another refill or prescription. Usually, when my prescriptions had lapsed in the past, the pharmacy contacted my physician automatically without a prompt from me. She said she would do and that I would be notified when the new prescription arrived. This was 10 days ago. Three days after the above conversation, I called CVS again, and they indicated that they had notified the physician and that no prescription had been sent. Then, I contacted my physician through MyChart and requested a refill - describing the process thus far. In short, it has taken me nearly two weeks to obtain a new prescription for a drug that I need. I was notified that the new prescription had arrived and that I could pick up the drug this afternoon. Not so fast! When I drove to CVS, drive through, I was notified that they were out of Testosterone and that could pick it up in a few days. What the heck is going on! CVS has known for over two weeks that I was going to refill the drug. If someone at the store was paying attention, they would have seen that their inventory was low or out altogether and they should have ordered a new supply. Instead, they chose to do nothing and now I have to make another trip - a total waste of time and gas! Apparently, CVS’ attitude is that Customer Service stops at the drive through window. UGH! One of the other drugs I was able to pick up was an eye ointment that I’ve been taking for over a year. Once my prescriptions had been handed to me and I had paid, the assistant asked me to wait until the pharmacist asked me a question about one of the drugs. Five minutes later, she waddled to the window and asked me if I had any drug allergies that might interfere with my taking the eye ointment. I have been asked this question numberous times over the past year. I do have a drug allergy, but it doesn’t interfere with my taking the eye ointment. Why is this information not entered in my file for future referenced? Or, is this asking too much? I don’t think so! Again, the customer is victimized by the stupidity or laziness of the CVS pharmacy! Get with the program folks - you’re getting paid to do a job - DO IT! Why should a customer have to contend with this level of incompetence just because he/she patronizes a CVS in Indian River County? UGH!

Horrible! No help and the one cashier they had didn’t have a clue of where anything is. Self checkout was slow.

Pharmacy and staff have the absolute worst attitude. They are always on the defense and always seem frustrated and tense. Sadly, It really looks like they hate their jobs. Quality customer service/care does not exist. Transferred my meds out and absolutely won't be returning!!

The pharmacist at this branch is manipulative, angry, vicious, and she seems to thrive on publicly humiliating her customers. Every month she consistently makes it difficult to fill my prescriptions. I have been a loyal and satisfied CVS customer for 30 years in CT. I have been told by my Doctor to drive into the next town to another CVS because he refuses to deal with this pharmacist. (That pharmacy on 53rd Street and US 1 has been wonderful, professional, and kind!)Does corporate headquarters ever read these reviews, and do they foster this unethical behavior by their primary employees? A direct reply to this missive is requested. Thank you.

It’s always a pleasure to shop at CVS. The layout is terrific and the personnel is always there to help. This holds true for the pharmacy as well.

I am visiting from out of town and needed a prescription transferred to this location while visiting. I dropped off prescription on a Thursday morning and they said they would fill it by tomorrow and text me when done. Two days later I called and it's still isn't done. The staff at this location are rude and have poor customer service skills. Unlike the CVS where I'm from. Do better CVS at training your staff for customer service.

Called to renew a prescription, took 25 minutes for my call to be answered. When I told the woman that answered that I was on hold for 25 and was then asked to again give the info that the automated annoying line already asked for, she told me Please do not be mean. What a stupid reply. Really poor customer service especially from a pharmacy. My CVS in NY is excellent but when here in Florida this is what a encountered.

I want to commend Lindsay, the Store Manager, who provided me with extraordinary service on 2/6/22. I experienced a glitch with my CVS card. For some reason, my rewards and coupons were not being applied to my purchase, although I had saved them to my card. Lindsey literally spent 30 minutes with me trying to figure out what happened. She tried many different things. Eventually she helped me download the CVS app to my phone, and made sure I got every reward and coupon . This helped me save approximately $20 on my order. THANK YOU LINDSAY!

Every month it's always an issue getting my scripts filled! Some say it will be ready the following day and then you call the next day sit on hold for 20 plus minutes to talk to a human that doesn't care! I was told my script would probably be here Monday due to cvs messing up just like every month! I'll be changing pharmacies! Never in my life have I ever had a problem every month and they are nasty
