This was by far one of the worst mechanic experience I've ever had. I had asked them to change my alternator and then my friend offered to do it for me so I called hicks and asked them not to do the job. They said they had already begun to take the engine apart so they wanted to be paid $50, and I agreed to do that. I went and paid them $50, they gave me the keys and I drove the car a few blocks away and parked in a parking lot and my friend changed the alternator. While my friend was doing that we discovered that hicks hadn't put my engine back together. The radiator fan was in the backseat. The AC hose was disconnected and missing it's bolts. The bolts are also missing from the top of the radiator. I went back and told them what happened and asked them for my parts back and they refused to even give me my engine parts back so now I have to spend even more to order new parts and pay another mechanic to fix the damage they did. Hicks hadn't even told me that my engine wasn't put back together when I was given my keys back and I drove away with it......it could have caused a very serious accident and blown the engine.
They are also overcharging people.
It took my friend one hour to change the alternator and hicks had been going to charge me for three hours of labor for changing it, so they were charging 3 times what it really cost. I provided the part.

Sent my grandson there because we had used it many years ago and thought it was a honest place.Well after raising the price well over what he quoted him for the repairs, my grandson drove it home and parked it , it was supposed to have a new powersteering pump ect, however when he got up for work this morning, as he backed out he saw a puddle. turns out ALL the power steering fluid is now on my driveway.and when he called about it , they were not very nice.he was taken advatage of no doubt.I am going to go down there and picket /protest if I have to,also will be in touch with the bbb and the govenors site for defrauding disabled senior citizens, shame on them,my grandson works hard and is a very decent kind young man.I feel so bad since I amthe one who suggested this place,so BEWARE///////////!dont go there.

Very reasonably priced. Never had any issues with any of the work that's been done on both of the cars in our family. I've always been able to get our cars in in a timely manner.

Extremely Friendly, loved the service. Job done well, problem fixed without a headache. Courteous staff, made me feel comfortable and not anxious as many places seem to do. I will be back when need a service shop again.
