I unfortunately had a very sick dog, but I can't say enough about Dr Walsh and her team. They were super caring with lots of phone calls, initiated by them!! Every person I came in contact with was 100% providing me with the best care for my dog, Please accept my affection and adoration for providing the best care for my beloved sister Bailey and caring for her until she took her last breath. Thank you for all you do!

UPDATE: 1/27/2024. We received this beautiful card today, with paw prints, from Live Oak Animal Hospital. Their kind, heartfelt words of condolences truly touched our hearts & brought me to tears. Ironically, both cats resemble Grayson & Corky (a cat we had to say goodbye to in 2016). Initial post 1/19/2024. Dr. Walsh is such a wonderful, caring DVM. Along with her staff, who are exemplary in their care & understanding of our pets and their humans.

I had the worst experience at the vet today, and I'm extremely dissatisfied with their service. Despite arriving a couple of minutes early for my 4 PM appointment, I had to wait for 40 minutes until Dr. Nester finally showed up. The vet recommended a flea shot and some medicine to prevent fleas from recurring, which I agreed to. However, when I was given an estimate of over $380 for the shot, the medicine, and the exam, I was appalled. I have another pet and have been to a vet who charged me only $170 for a similar exam, including heartworm medicine, rabies, and flea prevention, and even nail clipping. Furthermore, I wasn't even present when they gave my cat the shot because they took her to another room. I felt like I was scammed and that the vet was trying to make a quick buck off me.I paid $260 for a single shot and three packs of medicine, but I don't think it was worth it. I didn't appreciate how the vet was willing to negotiate prices like it's a yard sale either. And to top it all off, the ladies at the front desk were not friendly at all. I'm extremely disappointed and wish I could get a refund. I would never recommend this place to anyone, and I give them no stars for their poor service.

My dog, Titus, was in need of specialized care (he had a growth on his toe that required surgery) and a good friend of mine recommended I go to Live Oak for a second opinion. I had a great experience with Dr. Walsh and opted to have her do the surgery. From pre-op care to post-op bandage changes every few days for several weeks, our entire experience was wonderful. They are professional, organized and caring. Titus is doing fantastic now and goes on 8 mile beach walks with zero limp! Can’t thank the Live Oak team enough for the care.

After moving to Vero 10 years ago, and having a bad experience with another vet, I was introduced to Dr. Torrado. He is a caring and compassionate vet. Also, the other vets on staff are also excellent.

I don't have no words to express gratitude to LOAH, my Vet Dr. Nelson; she's an Angel. The staff, the clinic and the love for animals and animal parent are the best. I will highly recommend this clinic with my eyes closed. Thanks guys to help me during all this process with my 4paws son. Many blessings. Kudos to Staff and Vets. They help us to take our dog to the other side of the ?.

We had a cat whose health had been ministered to by another vet, a personal friend. Their office was considerably further away than Live Oak, but, well, you know.Said vet and his wife, both members of our church and choirs, had Covid the week we felt that Portia was terminal, and thus unavailable. They recommended some folks. Live Oak was just down the street from our home; we pass it every day on the way to the gym.Live Oak diagnosed the fast-arriving and faster-growing cancer which had arrived in the couple of weeks since her last visit to our friends' office, and explained how others had treated this horrible disease. None of them made any sense for a geriatric cat, and the decision was made to put her down. The staff couldn't have been more caring, and after I'd watched the light go out of Portia's eyes, the attending vet (there are several) carefully wrapped her in the blanket she'd given us to hold her in during her passage, and gave us photo ops, and some time alone to say our final goodbyes to her.A few days later, a condolences card, thoughtfully signed and commented upon by the entire staff, accompanied by a nose and paw prints, arrived in the mail.During the entire runup to the process, we (all 3 of us) were lovingly handled, so to speak. We could not have chosen a better assist for Portia's graduation and trip over Rainbow Bridge...

We took our newest family member “ Mizz Molly” for her first puppy visit at Live Oak. The staff and DVM that seen our new fur baby were outstanding!!! Very knowledgeable and treated Molly and me with the utmost respect, as well as provided me with very important tips on our pup. Office was super clean and staff very pleasant. I recommend them to anyone needing animal services. They even took me in the same day I called. Our first vet trip was incredible with this company.

I just moved to the area and called every vet possible. I was so happy I found them. The staff is great and the wait time wasn't bad at all. The prices were great as well. My dog is reactive, and they were able to work with us. I'm thankful we found our permanent vet.
