I couldn't agree more with Le K. I have 4 kids and this was by far the worst preschool I have ever experienced. The director (or some old lady who presented herself as the director) was intimidating to my 2 year old daughter and extremely rude to me. As this bitter woman spoke "at" me, my very shy dauggter wrapped her body around me and held on as tight as she could. Because of this person, I have been terrified to enroll my child in another school. HORRIFIC! She basically told me that she didn't care if my child ever came back again. Disgusting!

After reading a few of the other reviews, I said - "this can't be the same Maitland Farm Preschool that my twins Rebecca and William attended for almost 3 years." Never once did we have an issue or problem that wasn't resolved to our satisfaction.Moving to Vero Beach from Fort Lauderdale, my wife and I had 3 kids that required an education. Our oldest daughter - who already had skipped a grade in Elementary school - was on her way to Catholic school. Our twins - not so lucky as the "preschool" educational opportunities were sparse. We were recommended to Maitland Farm by a friend. In researching the school, I told my wife that I wasn't sending my kids to a preschool to milk cows and count chicken eggs. Being from the "big city," I wanted something more.Relationships the way they are, my wife won the argument and our twins were enrolled in Maitland Farm. Separate classes for each of them, we mutually decided - and the school agreed - that the kids should be taught by different teachers. Time to separate our twins in an effort to allow them to flourish.Far from milking cows and counting chicken eggs, our twins had many opportunities to learn new skills and employed them in spontaneous play. Not only did they develop small and large muscles by the use of manipulatives - or on the playground - they quickly mastered various art and writing tools as well.Communication through the spoken word, dictated stories - along with songs and rhymes were employed. Using objects in the classroom, playground and farm yard quickly enhanced their natural abilities. Reading, writing and arithmetic were all taught at Maitland Farm Preschool. To me, it may have been a small town "farm school" but to my twins attending Maitland Farm was an experience they speak of to this day. As a Dad who dropped off his kids several times a week and one who participated in more than his share of events, parties, school functions, etc. - I'm giving them 5 stars for an overall great experience.William E. Absolutely amazing preschool. They foster creativity, curiosity & learning through play. Art & crafts, outdoor play, caring for farm animals, & gardening. This school makes me wish I were a child again & could attend!

This is one of the best preschools in town. Having gone from MFP to one of the best private schools in the county, we thrived both mentally and physically. This was a great choice, and even educators agree. The animals added a special touch and allowed the children to get in accordance with nature and its beauty.

My son started at Maitland August 2016. We paid $550/month for him to go 9-12 M-F. He was sick with Hand, Foot and Mouth (twice), strep throat (twice) and the flu. I pulled him out at the end of November. The teachers are nice but they do not clean the toys or classrooms enough!! They only clean once a week and the kids are always sick. To top things off, I wanted to re-enroll him for the 2017-2018 school year but they said he could only apply as a new student, not an alumni student. So I guess the $2200 I paid to them was chump change??? Also, look at their students- 99% white. I'll take my Asian baby to a place that won't get him sick and teach him equality. Staff are extremely off and rude unless you're blond, blue eyes and fair skin.
