Came in at 7pm to unload some stuff and tried to leave at 9:15pm but could not. Tried calling various numbers to get a hold of someone and no one would answer the phone or return my calls. Tried the emergency numbers and all. Had to leave my truck there and hitch a ride. Unbelievable.

The unit was very easy to reserve online. It is very clean inside and nice. The issues to be aware of:
1. They charge you $20 for a lock unless you show up with your own and only then will they not charge you.
2. They mandate you use their insurance and give you the first month free. Then charge you $20 a month for only $5000 in coverage. That is highway robbery. Of course they say you can get your own but then scare you by saying most homeowners dont cover it and then you have to prove yours does.
3. Directions to your unit are lacking. I was assigned a unit in the D building. Good luck figuring out how to find it. None of the doors are labeled telling you which doors access which units.
4. Only had one cart in a building with over 200 units. Really?? Had to go to a different building to get another.

Nice and clean facility saw a young lady cleaning today she was very nice. Miss Erin asked how my space was and had a conversation she was very nice.

The person I talk to to originate my storage unit was very helpful very nice and friendly. Also the follow up call asking if I had any questions was very appreciated because I did and she answered them completely. I appreciate good customer service and that’s exactly what I got from Public Storage thank you

NEVER USE PUBLIC STORAGE. EVER!! Was 1 month late on payment due to the hurricane/ weather / and personal reasons ( not in my control) and they put my unit up for auction FOR BEING JUST 1 MONTH LATE!!! Even with communication, public storage did NOTHING to help those affected by the hurricane. This company is money hungry. Paid over $150 in auction fees , $70 late fee , they cut my lock & now I have to go spend money to buy a new one!!! I totally understand this happening to people who don't pay their bill at all or that don't communicate but I've never been this late paying my bill, in the whole year I've been using this company. Y'all need to do better. It's already a crazy expensive time in life. We list everything due to mold contamination & then the hurricanes..... this company is not for the American people.
