“I have worked with Suncoast Realty and Rental Management for several years now and have been very satisfied with everyone I have worked with during that time. I originally purchased a single family home that was to be a rental for a couple of years and would then become our home. Those plans changed and that property is still one of my best rentals.At the time I bought that property we also had rentals in California and Virginia. I decided to do 1031 exchanges with those properties since Florida is a much more landlord and renter friendly state. I worked closely with Suncoast, primarily with Steve, he was a tremendous help in identifying and acquiring properties within the time limits imposed by a 1031 exchange. After California we did the same with the properties in Virginia. We now have 9 rentals in Florida all well managed by Suncoast.I have worked closely with Steve, Yvonne, Tammy, David,and others in the office. All have been very professional and hard working. There have been several turnovers in tenants over the last few years but all were handled in a timely manner and very little rent has been lost because of longer vacancies. All tenants presented to me were within the requirements we had set forth at the beginning of our relationships.Any time there was a problem or repair that required attention I was consulted and after discussion a plan of action was put in place and the problem was quickly and efficiently solved. Recently I have given authority for the property manager to make a decision on how to handle items under a stated dollar amount without my approval prior to action. This has worked out very well over the last year and has made my life and their job a little easier.Yvonne is the primary responsible for monthly owner statements and funds being transferred to the proper accounts. Her knowledge of this portion of the business and the simple format of the paperwork involved makes my job much easier than I have experienced in the past.Tammy has been my property manager for the last year or so and has been very professional, and has done an outstanding job of keeping everything working, properties rented as well as keeping HOAs and tenants happy.My experience with them, and I am not really easy to please I have no hesitation in recommending Suncoast if you are looking for a knowledgeable, well proven rental property manager.BJB”
