I love the work that The Salvation Army does for the homeless community in Vero Beach by providing them with a hot shower, clean clothes, and a hot meal.

This has always been a really great place to get food to bring home. On Thursdays you can actually go inside and be served a hot meal, which, I must say, is pretty darn yummy. They even gave us some to take home for others. The time we went we were served baked ziti with garlic bread. So, if you're running low on food to store at home, stop by, give them your information and how many people are in the household and they will give you accordingly.

Social services came to my rescue.
Food pantry also.
Staff is very friendly and helpful. No mention of religion or indoctrination attempts. Just a group of earnest caring people.
They have some activités as well.
They are here for the community and are an intégral part of this community. They dont even have religious or political pamphlets in their entry. They do not discriminante in the process of providing assistance. A solid charité doing good deeds. All I really know about them is that they are à Christian organization. But again their was never à mention of religion.
