If you’re looking for a great berry patch look no further! I have had a great time picking these last two weekends. First time here was last Sunday and let me tell you this place and the people who work here are absolute gems! I’ve come around 11 both this and last Sunday to see how well I could do in 1 hour and I’ve left with a full bucket each time. I barely make it a few steps down the rows before the bushes are so full of berries and before I know it my bucket is overflowing. The blueberries this weekend (pictured here) were bigger than the one I picked last weekend but I think both were perfectly sweet and juicy despite the differences in size. The fields are very well maintained with towering bushes. Of course you are outside so there will be bugs but it is not nearly as bad as some fields I’ve been to. There is a healthy amount of small spiders, birds and pollinators flying around so you know the bushes are relatively safe for wildlife and not over treated (I’m unsure if they use pesticides). It is very fun to watch the brown thrashers and cardinals hopping/flying around through the rows while you pick. That being said, there is not an overwhelming abundance of bugs that makes you feel the plants are not cared for or make the experience unpleasant. I’ve yet to find a fire ant nest that I’ve had to navigate or had to deal with gnats. I haven’t broken out the bug spray yet. The rows and bushes themselves are spaced apart extremely well. The massive amount of berries they produced speaks for the great care this farm receives. In my experience so far, you can honestly just pick from 4-8 bushes and fill your bucket with ease. The farm is also very close to the Wacissa river. So you can conveniently pick your river snacks before you go boating/kayaking/canoeing for the day!I cannot wait to come back, fill the freezer some more, bake some delicious goodies, and buy some berry bushes and other plants of my own! Maybe one of these days I will finally make it to the middle field…but if these are the easy/over-picked bushes I’m finding I’m worried for my freezer if I ever do!

Beautiful property with so many well maintained rows of blueberry bushes! They had a few different fields to pick through with a lot of fruit on both sides of the pathway. Their staff was super friendly, including Farmer Jack who was working the field while we were picking and chatted with us at checkout. They also offer prepicked berries (takes the pressure off!) and had plants for sale as well. Peaceful drive out to the Farm, really enjoyed our experience!

Delicious huge and juicy blueberries. Huge field. Wonderfully nice gentlemen that run it. Organic. Excitingly priced at $5/lb which is half the price of other U-Pick farms near Tallahassee, and I dare say they’re berries are superior. They also offer other plants and herbs for sale, including blueberry plants, tomato plants, fig trees, and more!!

I've been coming here with my mom as a family tradition ever since I was little! Its a fantastic place to spend your morning before going down to the springs to paddle and cool off. Fantastic blueberries, blackberries, and plant nursery. Best blueberries you'll ever eat!
