About Welaka National Fish Hatchery - Aquarium
Welaka National Fish Hatchery - Aquarium is a small, free, one-room aquarium on the main road. It is an amazing and excellent place for an educational stop or a quick visit to stretch your legs. Visitors get a close-up view of about 15 tanks of assorted native Florida freshwater fish. It is very interesting and perfect for learning about the local habitat and the hatchery. It is open daily, approximately from 9 am to 3 pm.

Amazing place for educational stop small but very interesting. Close up view of the local habitat. No fee to go in. We spent 30 minutes there and as a local person I was surprised by what I learned A+++ open I believe from 9 am till 3pm daily

Excellent place for a quick bathroom stop and perfect for stretching your legs and seeing some fish. It's a free little one room aquarium with a lot of freshwater fish native to the state.
