They should shut this place down. Nothing ever works. They literally pay two people to do nothing there. They don't help you. They just sit around and smoke cigarettes and get paid to do nothing at all. The machines don't ever work The one cash register a loan has been broke for 2 months. So for 2 months nobody has did anything there. They haven't rang out. No people, no groceries. It's you help yourself and that's it. I wish I could get a free job like that

Very friendly store manager he was very helpful and showed actual concern for wanting to improve the store I have seen a change for the better stuff is actually getting put away on shelves and in correct places he also wears proper clothing it's just sad he started there in suchba mess and has a very immature staff and the laziness shows I think they are confused and seen to think standing around talking or smoking is actually working but atleast they are easy to find if you have a question but I seen Daniel from one end of store to other doing there work wish I had boss like that

Staff outside smoking, talking to other off the click employees, with five customers standing in a line to pay. Off the clock employee standing out front dropping the f bomb every other word, being loud and acting the fool. Directly in the walk way so you have to walk by and hear that mess…

It has been such a great improvement this past 4 months, with Sandra as manager and Krystin and all the other ladies working contantly to keep the store stocked and organized, treating the customers with courtesy and smiles, and maintaining their composure despite disgruntled customers frequently getting held up by faulty equipment. The staff there definitely deserves a solid 5 rating, but the 1 left off is for the DG parent company not getting their equipment repaired in a timely manner and not making sure that Wellborn receives their stock as consistently as city stores do, based on a former employee stating that the empty spots on the shelves were caused by the DG truck suppliers often choosing to skip the Wellborn store, due to its distance.

Excellent customer service employees. Very personal and normal every day people. The Manager however is just the opposite. Pompous, extremely presumptuous, makes customers feel uncomfortable and comes off as if everyone is lying. The ex Assistant manager should have been the store manager. However im to the belief that the ex Assistant Manager was demoted out of fear of losing job position and title.

This is one of my favorite stores to go to the staff is super helpful and kind and what I love is that they remember who you are they smile when you come in and you can tell that they enjoy there Job the Manger is always so helpful also she goes over and beyond for her customers all in all great staff and great store I love that it’s always so organized in there and you can find what you’re looking for Just love this store best Dollar General around hands down
