I recently had two MRIs at AQUMIN's Wellington location and couldn't have been more impressed. The front desk staff was extremely friendly and accommodating—when I forgot my order and had to go home to retrieve it, they worked with the MRI techs to see me with very little wait.
I particularly want to mention MRI tech aide Misael Valdes and MRI tech Chloe Nguyen, who were both incredibly friendly and helpful. I never felt rushed, which was especially appreciated since this was late afternoon on New Year's Eve. Their positive attitude made all the difference.
The MRI table is noticeably wider and more comfortable than traditional ones at most facilities, and they provide 3T imaging quality. Most importantly, my referring physician told me he always uses the Wellington location specifically because of the quality of radiology reports he receives.
I hope I don't need any more imaging, but if I do, AQUMIN is by far the best facility in this area.

This place is an absolute disgrace to healthcare and should honestly be investigated. Do NOT come here. Do NOT let your family come here. If you value your health, run in the opposite direction.
There is NO direct phone number to the actual office. The number listed sends you to a foreign outsourced call center that has zero knowledge of this facility, zero access to real information, and zero ability to help. They read scripts, transfer you in circles, and leave you completely stranded.
Getting your radiology results is a nightmare that borders on medical negligence. They force patients to use a broken, unreliable app/portal that barely functions. When (not if) it fails, you’re told to call another number for technical support — yet another dead end.
Even after submitting multiple requests, confirming everything, and waiting endlessly, your results are simply never uploaded. No follow-up. No urgency. No accountability. You are left chasing critical medical information that could literally determine your next steps in treatment.
This is not just “bad service.”
This is dangerous.
Radiology results are often time-sensitive and potentially life-saving, and this facility treats them like they don’t matter. Patients could suffer serious consequences due to these delays. If you’re waiting on results to rule out something serious, this is NOT the place you want handling your care.
The lack of communication, the dysfunctional systems, and the complete disregard for patients makes this one of the most irresponsible medical facilities I’ve ever encountered.
Do yourself a favor: do NOT go here. Do NOT take the risk. Your health deserves better.

The customer service needs to be retrained on how to treat people. The girls up front especially the heavey set spanish lady is awfully rude. You would think you are at the Department of Motor Vehicle instead of a medical procure facility the way they treat their patients. I can now see why this facility only has a 2 star rating. I ordered a copy of my MRI results more than 2 weeks ago, and when I went in today to pick it up it was not ready. Come on Akumin, you have to be better than that.

I've been to this office on multiple occasions and every time I've came in the young lady Jade who works at the front desk is extremely helpful. Very great and enthusiastic personality.

Jade, Madison and Yunia, was so phenomenal this process was so easy and it doesn’t hurt at all. These three ladies have been so helpful because I was so nervous and they definitely calmed my system down. Any one of these ladies are perfect. I walked in, got the help I needed and left. I am so thankful for these ladies. You will not be disappointed.

Akumin radiology is the worse facility's poor service, repeated cancellations, and the alleged incorrect MRI procedure. I've been canceled 4 times after appointments were set.

My appointment was at 6:00pm today. I was told to be here 15minutes early. I got here at 5:30 and it’s now 8:06 and there are still two patients ahead of me. This is unbelievable. How??? If you read this review do yourself a favor and go somewhere else!!

To begin I had an appointment to have left mammogram redone, and a possible ultrasound of that same breast if needed and a CT scan in Atlantis. Whomever made my appointment screwed it up only had me for CT and ultrasound. However, mammogram had to be done first so I had to reschedule my mammogram and ultrasound. It was originally scheduled for Saturday the following day at 12 o’clock. I received a phone call from the young lady that helped me at the location the day before this appointment was to be had that no one was going to be there to do breast so it was rescheduled for Tuesday in the Wellington location. So I got there and they give me a very hard time. I’m early for my appointment stating that they don’t have a script. I said the script was put into the system not only once but twice, but here’s a copy of it, and they gave me a hard time because I had already signed the paperwork which the girl scanned into the computer wanted me to fill it out again and because I am an ultrasound tech I didn’t want to risk them billing my insurance twice with filling out the paperwork twice. So they call me back and my son is with me for the appointment and my son is sitting in the waiting room in a wonderful woman who works there. Tasha made it clear that my son can’t sit there as he’s a minor because women are having breast exams. They’re not walking around with their breast out. They are covered up and going into private rooms so my minor child has to be put in jeopardy for this but mind you I’m an ultrasound tech we’ve never implemented this ever so I asked for the manager she’s telling me to reschedule whether I reschedule or not. My son will be back with me. I wanted the office manager supposedly office managers too busy. No one can get a hold of a manager. I gotta email them. I gotta do this. I gotta do that so still have not had my appointment that was supposed to be a redo of possible cancer on Friday and we’re still not there was all in my business when I was speaking to secretaries in the front. I asked her to get out of my space. She said she’s doing her job. I said I thought your job was back doing the mammos and ultrasound, not being in my business and shaking your head and laughing so I will never go to this location again and I will make sure that I have Tasha will be reprimanded for her unprofessional manner, violating HIPAA and not allowing a minor child to sit in a waiting room for their mother.

1 star because that’s the minimum allowed. It should be 0 stars.
Not only did their lack of integrity and professionalism caused the appointment to be reschedule 3 times, but they also neglected to send the results to the physician putting me at risk of complications and making what could’ve been a routinely scheduled procedure, an emergency one.
I absolutely recommend you choose any other company except for this one.
They are awful! They do not care about their patients at all.
I will be filing a formal complaint. Their license should be examined. Horrible experiences. Will never use them again.

I just done my mammogram today ( Nov 6, 2025 ) my appointment is 10:15am. When I enter to this office to check in on my appointment, the lady who approach me and check on me so very rude, too bad i didn’t got her name, she’s Spanish lady she so very rude ( she told me I don’t need anything right now ) she look at me like she’s mad. And then when i went inside the mammogram area, all of them are very incompetent, dis organize, people, you don’t know whom you will approach because they are not accommodating they just pass by without asking anything, then the mammogram lady who did my test, she’s also rude, she asked me different questions, looks like doesn’t like to do her job all they do is talking and talking. My advice don’t go to this akumin testing in Wellington lake worth, they need to hire competent professionals people with experience and right attitude to approach the patient. No wonder they are not so busy. I hope this review of mine the owner or the head of akumin can do something about there employees very rude.

Had to have a Dx mammo and breast ultrasound done. I was being charged more than $700.00 when I was covered at 100%. I had to call the insurance. This is not the first time this happens. The short lady doing the mammo squeezed way to hard and the spanish lady doing the ultrasound was rough handling as if rolling dough! It was painful and I'm still sore the next day! Never again! You're handling womens breasts, be gentle! Geez!

Horrible service. Called to confirm my X-ray disc and report were ready since it was over a week since since the X-ray. Was told yes and said I’d come in the next day or Friday. Went yesterday and no disc was ready. When I got there, I was asked to sign in. 7 minutes later my name was called. The lady said there was no disc and she would download it. 30 minutes later she gave it to me. Complete waste of my time. Will never go there again.
