The Original Wellington Mall is a unique and eclectic community hub that offers a diverse array of shops, services, and cultural experiences. Described as a "little village," the mall is home to a variety of "Mom and Pop" businesses, including a post office, school, barbershop, computer repair, realtor, karate studio, temple, bike shop, restaurant, and newspaper.
The mall's atmosphere is peaceful and quaint, with "awesome statues and decorations" throughout, creating a retro and whimsical ambiance. Visitors can enjoy strolling through the mall, admiring the various art installations and sculptures, and grabbing a coffee or cold drink. The mall also hosts a kids' chess class on Saturdays, providing a unique educational opportunity for the community.
While the mall may have an "80s movie set" feel, it remains a vibrant and thriving hub, serving as a gathering place for people of diverse cultures and backgrounds. The mall's eclectic mix of businesses and art creates a welcoming and engaging experience for all who visit, making it a valuable asset to the local community.
It was cool to walk around and see all the art work.
