Been bringing my Maltese for grooming here for years and today they did not accept my dog because I did not bring a leash? And it’s their store policy? I have never brought my dog here with a leash because she gets very nervous and I prefer to hold her. They didn’t even try to make it right, I won’t be returning to PETCO for anything ever again.

The groom was good but the nails weren’t properly trimmed. When I phoned to complain, I was told that « it has been 10 days and we are no longer responsible ». I find that comment unacceptable. My dog has been groomed many times before and the nails were never sharp, even after two months.Given the price of the groom ($90+ and $10 tip), I will no longer be using your services.

Long story- another petstore ruined our shipments twice! So i called petco- They had a similar item. that night the tank broke- but Petco had one !! A perfect acrylic tankl! Just like ours! We went and got it!! My online order never got to store (why?) but they had it and adjusted my bill-great guys! They even had tank set up for me. They know fish too!! Fish and holiday saved- this tank even better!

It is the day before Christmas December 24 and my Fishtank got a leak. I went into the Petco and it was quite crazy. I was having a hard time finding what I was looking for. There was an amazing young man named Matt who was beyond great and help me with everything that I needed. He also let me know that if I look up what I was looking for on the app that I would find it cheaper. He looked it up for me and help me find it on my phone.I cannot thank Matt enough for all his help! As crazy as his place was, it was one beautifully! I highly recommend the Petco that we went to!

got the vital care premier to save money on pet food and grooming etc.. The front cashiers are not the nicest. The one mgr on duty was not pleasant and we went over all their xtra charges for grooming and they add 5.99 for their usage of grooming materials and i wanted to give them my dogs medicated shampoo and they said additional charge of 8.00 and i said why.. they said its their time costs money.. since shampoo has to be left on for 5 minutes!! they nickle and dime all their basic grooming add ons.. not sure the vital care premier worth it.. my dog got a bacterial infection from there on his paws too.. not sure how clean it is there and if they clean up well after all dogs get off tables? anyone else have this issues there?? not sure if i want to go back for grooming or not...wellington petco grooming

Bought a saltwater fish, died after three days, no refund not even a credit towards something else. Was told after there is no guarantee on saltwater fish.

Fantastic pet store; well managed! They have a great variety of pets and accessories Matt did a wonderful job assisting us while simultaneously running the store. He was knowledgeable and patient helping us pick out a hamster and supplies.

Love this place they helped me a lot. You can adopt kittens here as well. Find cages for small and big animals. Bedding, food, toys, treats, etc. Definitely recommend

I was at the petco at State Road. The staff was friendly and nice. Karen was my groomer. She was so caring and gentle. I did a review before, but I said Diane was my groomer, but its Karen. I would recommend Karen.

I love the ease of ordering online and picking up in the store, especially the discount given when doing so. It encourages me to continue shopping at Petco! They always have what I need in stock, and I love the rewards and benefits.

Disappointing. Very. Short staffed and the "can't find anyone to work" is a sad excuse, especially when staff is up front talking to each other.To top it off, my wife had a hamster die a cpl days before, (yes, amazingly, she was very attached). I have to note, it was not from this store though. I wanted to get her another and took her to look at the one we ended up buying at this Petco. The one we wanted looked lethargic and the guy working (he was a credit to this store, great guy) agreed that it was best not to get that one, so we bought another. It acted odd once in a while, would not settle down and was very erratic. I called and they suggested it was because it was a new environment, The next day, she would curl up, upside down and was very nervous....for 2 more days. This afternoon she was dead. It was only 12 days after we got her.Not a lot that can be done about it now, but I should have gone with my gut on this one. Maybe it's just this Petco, but regardless, save yourself the trouble and heartache. Go somewhere else.I started not to write a negative review, until I was told by friends that they've had similar experiences.Out of curiosity, I decided to go by the Petco on Okeechobee Blvd in WPB. to see if there animals looked healthier. Nope! In fact worse. Maybe its their supplier? But find another place!!

On 10/11/23 I took my pet in for grooming and received the best service ever from the two females working today at 3:00! I also had an exchange I needed to do on a crate that I had purchased back in June well before I received my new pet Frenche not knowing how fast he would grow out of the size crate I had purchased. The associate handling my transaction was extremely professional and helpful by calling for manager assistance and was told yes over the phone that he could process the exchange and I pay the difference which was great. I selected the large size crate and once I reached the counter to process the transaction I was told the exchange could not be done due to being one month passed the return policy which I understand, however the small crate I wanted to exchange for the large and to pay the difference was new and in good condition, just too small for my pet. I ask for a manager and this is where the service went down hill after receiving such great service from the groomers and the cashier. The manager walked up, did not acknowledge until I said hello, she approached the cashier asking “what’s up” I in a nice manner and tone told her the situation and she just said “No can’t be done and walked away, I then ask if there was anyone else that she could call and again the answer was “No”This so call manager was not at all engaged with her customer, nor showed or had any desire to to save me to keep me coming back.I did leave my pet at the groomers because of their professionalism and I also went ahead and purchased the large size crate because of the cashiers professionalism I’ve been in retail management over 43 years between Macy’s and Home Depot running a multi million dollar business and have never seen managers behave the way I saw today.
