This is a next level Publix. Like a whole foods level of food service, but better. Brought mom and husband there for lunch and then got our grocery shopping done after. A nice outing that made me wish Publix would renovate the one in the Riverbridge Plaza (now known to locals as the "ghetto Publix") to be like this.

Most of the deli staff can hardly speak English or even know how to make a sandwich. DEI at its best. I feel Publix has wasted money on a store that is disorganized and difficult to shop it's nothing like any of the other publix stores, so you have to retrain your brain to shop here. And talk about a waste of space a large popcorn station was installed to show you Publix is committed to keeping you unhealthy. I only hoped that they would have learned from the healthy Trends by maybe installing a juice station or something that would benefit our health, but no, they want to keep us fat and hungry. Also. I prefer the new Publix closer to Whole Foods if I'm going to take my time to shop and an unhealthy grocery store, at least they have more organic produce available and it's not overly crowded by a bunch of drunk shoppers.. Really Publix get it together. I realize in some people's eyes you can do no wrong but the people that are increasingly concerned with their health will always choose to shop at Whole Food or anywhere else that caters to a healthy lifestyle not catering to obesity and unhealthy foods with careless disregard like Publix Supermarket I often feel like Mr Jenkins would be rolling in his grave right now because their store is all about $ not about the people and providing top quality products.

(:TLDR: Long wait time for new services because of short staff or not enough trained personnel for the new additions.) Store is pretty nice, well taken care of. Top tier customer service as you'd expect from the Publix brand. BUT the new elements here like the "Pours" bar, the bakery, deli and the Chipotle style "hot bar" are severely under staffed especially at around noon. The wait time for a smoothie is abysmal. The staff members have to take your order and make your drink etc, while you're just standing in line for 10+ minutes waiting for someone to take your order. I've seen at most 3 people working behind the bar and it's not nearly enough. They have too much to offer and no way to provide proper service for it. Aside from that it's clean and new and shiny. If you want to experience the newer services I suggest you come after 3pm. *Update* 3/5/25- wait is still way too long. Been standing in line for 10 minutes waiting to order. They definitely need more staff here to help in the pours bar.

As experience at the pizza bar the pizza is old and I even asked for another cheese pizza and they said that’s all they had . It’s so hard and it’s very disgusting I can’t believe I let my son ate that , I realized it was old after he said he didn’t wanted anymore .

It's a Publix, what do you expect. It's clean. Well staffed, as far as I could tell. Prices were as expected at a Publix. One notable thing about this location is the entrance. I walked from our Airbnb. There is an entrance to the liquor store, then the cafe, then an exit.... Before you finally get to the entrance. I'm not complaining, just surprised at the number of enterprises.

My husband got a burrito bowl and he said it was the worst thing he's ever tasted. He said it was made from someone who lacks the ability to flavor anything. There wasn't even salt. As a chef, thats a very important component in a dish!!! Not to mention that the people that work here, all look like they have a gun to their head. No smiles, no eye contact, no vibes. Publix has gone down hill fast trying to make their stores look pretty and not focusing on the quality of their food. One of the reasons I shop at aldis now.

The review posted a month ago regarding the Mexican food is correct. I've been shopping @ Publix Wellington for many years. Yesterday I bought a few Burritos & some Tacos. The 2 ladies barely understood what I was saying. My wife and my daughter spit out their food because the White rice they put in the Burritos was raw! hard as a rock. and my Tacos were soggy. The one lady had no clue how to prepare the Tacos & broke 2 of them attempting to make them. As many of the reviews point out, looks like they couldn't get quality people to work here. The staff at the old store was great, but most of the crew they hired now looks like they're off the. boat, don't speak English, and are EXTREMELY slow in doing their tasks. The business is only as good as their worst employee and this store is having some major issues with treating customers the way they should be treated otherwise long standing customers will go somewhere else.

This is for sure a really nice Publix and probably the best great looking one so far. Most people I've seen work there look nice until today me and my friend decide to go there to grab something to eat before home. We order our food, pay it and even donate with the money we had left. After we finished eating we still had some more left and we went to grab some go box and we put the left over in our bag and went to head out the exit until this man stop us. He first said that we were heading the wrong way and he proceeded to tell us why we were putting stuff in our bag, me and my friend look confuse since we pay for those things and didn't have any intention of stealing it especially knowing that they were many police officers and plenty of people walking by. He then ask us for receipt but I give the receipt I had since me and my friend we slipped the bill and she had the receipt for the pizza and since he couldn't find the answers he needed from us we lead him to the aisle we pay and thank God the cashier remember us. He said sorry but it wasn't really convincing enough that he really mean it. This whole situation may not sound like a big deal to some of you guys but me and my friend got traumatize from this experience especially as young black girls and I feel like we were a threat to them base on our race especially knowing the majority of customer that shop here are the kids that go to our school.

Is crazy the options they have and the food is very good. I hope they get Publix like this everywhere. I literally drove an hour to try the Burrito bar and the Pizza. Beer was also quite good.

I wanted to thank Andy at customer service & Camille the manager. My gift card was stolen yesterday and they were happy to reimburse me with a Publix gift card. I also wanted to give team member Andrew a shoutout for always being knowledgeable on where items are located. He also always makes the shelved products look tidy and neat. This publix is the best!

Clean and friendly staff. The cafe portion gave food hall vibes. Reasonably priced with many varieties!
