I went to Ulta today for a partial highlight and haircut. The hairstylist was very nice but I am extremely unhappy with the results. I wanted the highlights to match the rest of my hair which the highlights were on the bright blonde tone. This is the second time since my hair came back as I am a cancer survivor that I had highlights always blond tone. The only reason I came here is because I had a $50 gift card but I should have just bought makeup. I don't know why the stylist put a gloss on my hair which now it only looks like I have one color of auburn allover not showing any blond highlights at all . So $107 for highlights, $47 for haircut, and $25 for this gloss thing so $174 plus a $35 tip only because I'm a decent person and she did spend 4 hours while I thought was ridiculous. I will not give the stylist name because she is a nice person, but I am now with a color on my hair that I do not like at all. I can't afford another highlight which would be what I need because I have one unsatisfied color. I have worn wigs for 3 years and I shouldn't have to put one on to get the blonde look I asked for. I would like to be credited the $107 for the highlights that were not received. A very disappointed customer.Update; I am very happy to report the salon Manager refunded me. She went above and beyond and was very understanding.

Fabiola in ulta salon is amazing . She did my hair cut exactly like the picture I showed her . She is so friendly and she suggested me some products for my hair care routine.

This is the worst Ulta in the area in terms of customer service. I either get flat out ignored or asked “are you okay?” instead of being offered help. I haven’t been in years because of this. I checked to see the recent reviews because it’s the closest to me and it looks like customer service is still an issue at this store.

Fabiola in the salon is a miracle worker! I'll only go to her to get my haircut or colored.& the store itself is very nice and tidy, with plenty of inventory stocked. All Ulta employees are incredibly helpful, and they all have a vast knowledge of the many niche items the store carries.

Manager unpleasantly approached me upon entering the store. My two toddlers (ages one and two) were in a cart and he stated I could not enter with my children in a buggy. I had to leave my belongings at the front of the store to be able to carry my one and two year through the store at which comes a point it gets difficult to carry a combined 50 pounds. While I attempted, but putting my 2 year old down was impossible because she was into the beauty displays, grabbing the tester makeup, running into the glass shelves, all while trying to shop and also hold my other one year old child. This becomes a liability issue had my child been injured and all of this could've have been easily prevented if the store manager had let me bring in my stroller to contain them while being able to shop,

I appreciate the stock availability here, but I'm not a giant fan of the customer service. I will be the first to admit my knowledge of cosmetics and skincare is very limited, but every time I go there with looking for recommendations I'm asked things like "well what do you currently use for X?" And when I answer with a product that I purchased AT Ulta, I'm often told "that's really a cheap product, you need to consider upgrading your skin care." I was even told at some point that I shouldn't be using the Ordinary brand because "that's pretty juvenile..." I don't know what I'm doing, so I appreciate suggestions, but I often feel belittled and it makes visiting the store kind of intimidating. I wish the team there was more beginner friendly.

I just stop and let everyone know to come to Ulta in Wellington and visit Susie in luxuryShe is totally the best. She helped me upgrade into Natasha and Dior and I never looked better. She gave me a new quick makeup routine and I never looked better. Thank you Susie, your the best!
