I had an unpleasant experience at Zales today. I went in to return two gold bangles that I purchased through the website. The customer service representative that helped - while superficially pleasant, left a bad taste in my mouth. She spoke VERY LOW. I apologize in advance if she was sick or injured but - she should have stayed home then… I made it clear to her I could not hear her at the volume she spoke but she did not make any attempt to raise her voice at all. At certain points in time it almost felt as though she lowered her voice even more. Our entire conversation consisted of me starting my sentences with “huh?” Or, “excuse me?” Or, “what did you say?” Etc. after she completed my return she walked away and never came back. No attempts to wrap up the exchange by checking if I needed any further assistance or to at least bid me goodbye. And to add insult to injury I was trying to ask her a question while she was walking away. But I gone no acknowledgment from her. There were no customers in the store and no reason to rush her interaction with me. I actually wanted to make a purchase after she was done processing my return but I guess since she thought I wasn’t worth her time…

They took their time, answered all my questions, and made the entire experience feel special and stress-free. I’m so grateful for their help and couldn’t be happier with how everything turned out.
