Went into the branch at 1911 Bruce B Downs location this morning and we (my mom, sister and I) did not feel welcomed at all. We came in to add my sister to the bank account and Adriana Correa and her male co worker made us feel like they were inconvenienced by us not having an appointment this morning. We arrived at 9:20am and both Adriana and the male coworker said they both had appointments scheduled at 930am and they would get to us when they can. Both employees were just sitting there waiting for their 930am appointments. Adriana took us back reluctantly and said she could get us done before her 930am appointment arrived. Her 930am appointment arrived and her male coworker was trying to rudely get her attention as I felt we were an inconvenience to him to help as he had to help Adriana’s customer that arrived at 930am. I understand and can appreciate having an appointment, but what if I had an appointment and it ran over… would she have not finished the transaction to help the next customer who had the next appointment? Very poor customer service skills. We had to ask when we all arrived where the sign in sheet was and that’s when we found out about you should have an appointment. I do appreciate Adriana helping us even though we did not have an appointment, but it does not change how we feel about this financial institution. Both my sister and I felt pressured to provide another credit card/ debit card as a second form of identification when both my sister and I wanted to provide our CWP as another form of identification. Don’t like any financial institution requesting a bank card as a 2nd form of identification. It is non of their business who I decided to use for my financial needs.I can’t say I would recommend this financial institution to anyone. Might need to reconsider my mom changing her financial institution based off this service we received today.

Rachel the branch Manager is at the top of her game, knew every single answer to all my questions 100%, everyone else there has always been efficient and kind. I believe this low rating is totally unjustified. The people that write 1 star probably have chaos in their own life. MAKE TIME ORGANIZE.

Helpful and beneficial actions have yet to result in a negative experience.

Employees here do everything and anything in order not to serve you. It seems they just want to cruise through their work day. Worst customer service in the state.

Made me drive all the way here to verify identity then told me they were too busy and come back another day. No. Wells Fargo is fired.

Poorly run branch. Expect to wait long periods of time to be seen even after you get an appointment. Dealing with WF is quickly becoming like dealing with the doctors office.

I went to withdraw money from my account and teller (named Justin from the Wesley Chapel area Bruce B Downs Wells fargo) miss counted my money. By the time I went home and realized I was shorted $300, I called customer services to notify them since the actual bank was closed already. They said they would look into it and get back with me. I waited a few days and no one got back to me. I called the Bank on Bruce B Downs Blvd in Wesley Chapel and talked to the manager. She stated there was nothing they could do since it had been a few days and the moment I walked out of the bank with my withdraw there would have been nothing they could do since I had left already. To me this is b******* and Wells Fargo on Bruce B Downs stole $300 of my dollars! I will never go to that bank again.

How in the world does a manager not know that you can transfer money from your account to another person with a Wells Fargo account? Then saying it's against the law. Then get an attitude. WHAT!! It's on your web site saying you can do this. Like others have said this particular branch, customer service is not good. Wish the Jerome guy would have been there to help.

Thanks to an astute teller I was saved from a cashiers check fraud scheme. A teller at this branch questioned my need for the withdrawal which I said was for a job with Utz car wrapping. This is a common scheme. If you google it it has been around awhile. Cashiers checks should always have the issueing banks phone number. Never verify the check using this number get a phone book, remember those. The scammer could have listed a bogus phone number for fake verification purposes. If I would have used those funds eventuality the check would have bounced higher than a tennis ball dropped by King Kong from the Empire State Building. I would have been liable for the funds and recourse to the scum that sent it isn’t likely. Be it correspondence sent listed a P.O. Box and not a physical address. Kudos Wells Fargo; thank you for saving me from a scammer.

This is a very friendly branch. When you enter, someone inevitably welcomes you to Wells Fargo. The teller line moves rapidly. Patti is very friendly. I typically come in on Mondays and she asks how my weekend was. It’s that personal touch that makes me feel welcome and less like the big corporate bank it is if that makes sense. My only complaint is the reduced Saturday hours. In the past they closed at 2pm on Saturday’s but now they close at noon, although the hours for Saturday are not on their door. All in all, very happy with this branch and the friendly folks that work here.

My daughter had an appointment at this location a few days ago and she received the worst customer service of her life from Tonya Compton. She was extremely disrespectful and we will be switching banks because of this.

Bad customer service. Staff was not welcoming at all. Bad service in general. Just switch to a different bank. You will lose your money and your patience.
