This is for Petco/Vetco animal clinic. took my Shih Tzu in about a month ago and had very nice Female veterinarian she was nice and knew her stuff. Because it was such a positive visit I went back today to get my dog her yearly shote Rabies etc. First this girl came with a paper and read it so fast I couldn't understand her when I asked her what she said she read it again at supersonic speed I still had no idea what she said? Then a older male veterinarian came in, and I doubt he had much knowledge of animal medicine. He wanted to run more tests on what the young female doctor did? He seemed confused? I am just hoping he gave my dog the right shots, as I wanted to get out of there.He didn't seem to be real sure about anything, and wasn't answering any questions That is the end of Vetco and I think even Petco for me. If they can't hire good quality people then it is not a good place for me to shop!!

A poor bird was listed as sick less than a week ago and I offered to purchase him so he could get vet care instead of being stuck at the store.. I was told by the manager and 3 employees that I would be contacted when I could purchase the bird . I heard nothing for 2 days so I came back to the store and the bird was gone and every employee had a different story as to where he went "said he was purchased, then another that they didn't know and the manager said he was mean and couldn't be sold but didn't know where he was ,how terrible of customer service & treatment of the bird that as far as I could tell most likely died ...

Worst service ever! I made an appointment and explained what I needed for my German Shepherd. When I get to the appointment, they do not want to see a rabies email they want to see it on a paper. I have taken other pets before to the same location for grooming and they were OK with a verbal from the vets office. This is truly discrimination because I have a big black German Shepherd. I walk outside to call the vets office and when I come back inside I lose the appointment to someone else who had just walked in of course with a small dog. Gabby is one of the groomers there, horrible person would not recommend for her to touch anyone's pet ever.

I don't like that they sale live animals, guinea pigs are coming in sick, I've seen sick mice,rats,hamsters, the some staff members don't really care or know what to watch for. I pointed out one had ringworm starting and I was told it's eye sleep crust, that's wrong it's a upper respiratory or ringworm which I seen the white crust starting around the eye. I've never seen flys in the enclosure befor, but their were so many trapped with the animal, those are not good for the animal. But their is 2 lovely lady's that do care one not sure of one name, the other is Lauren , neither lady was working at the time I was their. It was 2 gentleman working. But if Lauren was their she would take care of the guineas. I wish breeders would stop, I wish pet stores would stop buying them.

I've called this Petco several times to schedule appointments for my three small dogs for nail trims. They don't answer the phone, so I've left messages. They do not return my phone calls. Evidently they have more business than they can handle. It's a shame. I've been going to Petco for 7 years, just not this location.

Honestly so disappointed. The grooming services were awful. I just got a eye trim and a sanitary clean up and even that was messed up. He looks super uneven. They just didn't do a good job. Going somewhere else to get my dog cut. On top of that my s*** zu came back with a matted belly so bad after his cut. We brush him every day and he was not matted when he walked in. Grooming ladies are nice but god such a bad haircut.

So very accommodating! They go out of their way to ensure customer satisfaction not only with animals you purchase but if you have to return something for any reason in the first 30 days they are so helpful! I really appreciated the small animal manager Lauren who gave us all kinds of information and friendly advice about the animals we purchased for our son. Thank you for a wonderful experience for our family and our pets! We truly appreciate the precautions you have taken during these unprecedented times so that your customers feel safe shopping there. We will be back time after time (and have) because you truly care about us as customers and the animals under your care. Outstanding!

They buzz cut my dog and stopped at the neck. They said he was moving too much. He's a 6 pound dog and he's been there before. I understand the risk involved but they could have at least made It look presentable. His feet were scraggly and there are random buzz cut lines all over him. I couldn't believe they didn't put any effort into making him look somewhat presentable. Then they gave me the phone number of someone to finish the cut and they don't have an availability for another month. They didn't charge me anything for It but It was so awful It brought me to tears. I had to finish the cut myself with scissors. And if i managed to do that, i don't see why they couldn't. I'm never going back.

Grooming department does not return calls regarding services. Phone message directs user to schedule on line however on line scheduling does not work. Message left, provider unresponsive. I should have took a clue from the negative reviews
