To put it short, if you value your time and money, along with honesty and transparency. Don’t waste your time here.

SCAMMERS, STAY FAR AWAY!!! I spent thousands of dollar for my car to still not work right to this day, and given attitude on multiple occasions when coming in respectfully to question the repairs.
I waited awhile to make this review just to confirm my suspicions. So I took my Chevy Cruze in there for multiple repairs. Mostly for turbo system issues.
They replaced the charge pipe, turbo and intercooler. Worked fine for a week, then I had to go back to get a replacement charge pipe because “my radiator mount was broken” which other parts to “burn a hole in the charge pipe”.
Mind you these were all separately done, totaling well over 4k. But okay sure, idk how you couldn’t see that initially with the radiator you’re working next to and could see it’s “hanging sideways” or not, as they said.. anyway, I had them replace the radiator and I inspected their work because I became suspicious of their work and integrity. Especially after one of the main mechanics was giving me attitude on two different occasions.
If the radiator was new it would’ve looked just like the new intercooler below it, and mind you I payed MORE for ALL these parts than what it would cost from the dealership (OEM) because they “have to use their own supplier”.
I had it looked at by another mechanic and they said it was either never done or they put a used one in there. Before this I called and asked, did you guys replace the radiator with a new or used one, and they brushed me off, including the guy at the counter, gaslighting and just being short overall.
I wouldn’t recommend this place, at all. And there’s no reason to go here since they don’t offer loaner vehicles anymore that was their main business model. Beware, these negative reviews are true. You’re better off going to a dealership even, with at least an ounce of accountability unlike these scammers.
BEWARE!!

Recently took my car to them to fix my ac which was fixed a year n half ago. They honored what was covered by the warranty, and I had to cover what wasn’t ,however they broke 2 pieces of my dash when either taking the dash out or reinstalling it, plus grease all over my seats and the sides of the front windshield. When I spoke up about what I found I was told by the tech that it was broken when I brought it to them, which I said no it wasn’t. Sam told me to talk to the Mgr (Cody) on Monday . Spoke with him Monday and was told 3 times that there is a disclaimer they are not responsible for damages. I told him that’s bull no one even said anything about the damage I spotted it before I left the parking lot. Cody then looked at what I was telling him and had me bring my car to them when I can and they will take care things. I expressed to Cody I wasn’t happy and some type of compensation needs to be done for this he told me he would talk Zoe the owner. When my car was done Cody had Sam give me this see picture
as compensation for what happened. I know that the damage n the grease is cosmetic but it’s the principle of not being up front with the customer, for an almost $1600 repair. I think they should have come down on the price, especially for being a repeat customer. Now let’s see how long this repair last!

Over the course of approximately 45 days I will outline my experiences at Rich’s Auto Tech, I took my 2011 Hyundai Sonata Limited, 130K on it. I went there because the front end was wearing out tires. I expressed concerns about a leaking radiator hose, possibly need A/C re-charged, possibly replace serpentine belt, flush radiator, some play in the steering wheel.
They suggested a “used car” inspection in order to pinpoint issue, to which I agreed. $120, which at the time I felt was reasonable. The result:
Brake fluid needs to be flushed/replaced. I agreed to this.
Rear Rotors need to be replaced. I agreed to this.
A part in the steering wheel needed to be replaced, to this I agreed.
CV joints need to be replaced. I agreed to this.
“Radiator replaced, due to hose leak. I agreed to this. After replacement began running “hot”??
Thermostat needs to be replaced. I agreed to this.
No coolant leak noted despite my concern??
A/C is good, so they say??
At the end of the day, I spent a little over 2K, had to go back because of a noise from the rear end and none of the steering wheel electronic buttons working. Apparently this was a lack of after the job quality control, OK, not an issue at this time.
After a week, I go back, coolant still leaking, but keep in mind, I’m 1st owner, never had a radiator issue or over heat issue in 15 years.
I go back and they determine a hose connected to the radiator is leaking, will replace the radiator to the tune of $625, I wait it gets done, I drive away and within 5 minutes running hot, take it back, I inform them that overheating has never been an issue and was not noted in the Richs Auto “USED CAR INSPECTION” to which I paid over a $100?? They had no answer to that.
They then replaced the thermostat; they stated the old one was bad, replaced to the tune of $180. I drive away, within 5 minutes overheats again, take it back, they inform me it must be bad water pump, they replace it, I’m well over 3K at this point.
They come back to tell me that I have a cracked block and should replace the old motor with a used one to the tune of an additional 6K. I’m dumbfounded at this point and feel as though I have been taken advantage of at the very least. I highly recommend you avoid this business at all costs, go somewhere else.
I went to Richs Auto Tech on 4 occasions in 45 days, I waited 4-6 hours at each appointment, 3 of which I had to UBER home, they had no one available to take me home. The technicians typically rolled in when they felt like it, Rich’s Auto were not good at keeping you informed, instead you had to repeatedly call or go by.
I go in with a front end issue, spend 3K, and walk out with a vehicle that is no longer drivable. I’m doing a “Dragnet” Joe Friday here, just the facts, I will let you decide If I got screwed, little doubt on my side.
I had no issues with Cody, but there was a heavy set guy, bearded and balding who on several occasions was rude when queried about what was happening to my vehicle. They day I went there to pick up my keys in order move the vehicle outside their lot so I could have 3K in repairs send the auto to a Junk Yard, as I walked out, he said “have a nice weekend”, I thought this was rude and belittling, I said “yeah whatever” as I walked out, at which point this same person said in a loud harsh voice asking me “so you have a problem”, I didn’t respond, instead I walked out, NEVER AGAIN. If i could give them a zero, would do gladly.
Update: They sent me a Richs Auto Tech $20 gift card, anyone want it? ROLFMAO.

Rich’s Auto Tech is an honest shop! We had a dealership tell us that we had an oil leak in our oil pan and wanted to charge us $1500 to fix it. We decided to get another opinion. We took it to Rich’s. They checked it out and said nothing was wrong. So they saved us $1500!

This company is amazing. I dropped off my vehicle on Wednesday and the staff took me home and picked me up. I brought my vehicle in for a bad tail light, possibly electrical issue. In the midst of them checking the electrical system my tail light started working again. They wouldn't take money from me and honestly were very honest! As a woman in the community I am very pleased to have Rich's auto, they are honest and get the job done! Thank you all again!

Scheduled maintenance for 2 weeks ago: tires, oil change, fluids. We ended up having to get it towed to the shop on the day of the scheduled appointment. The vehicle sat for 10 days at the shop... with a diagnosis of fuel pump issues. Well, there was an issue with fuel... it was out of diesel. Ended up getting it towed to a real diesel shop, (thank you Ryder Diesel!) for that free diagnosis. Within the hour the other shop confirmed no issues with fuel pumps, had the tires mounted and changed, and we're doing the other maintenance.
If there had been ANY honest communication from Rich's, we would have been content.
Better management, honest conversations and better customer service, then maybe you'll get back to what you were once known for.

I wanted so badly to give these guys a 5 star review BUT I gave them 3 due to them taking ownership of a mistake. preface I have a 2017 Jeep Wrangler Sport Unlimited 98k miles. In January I got my rear brakes and rotors done. Everything was fine for a few days but then I started hearing this metal on metal sound, it was faint at first so I thought it was unrelated then progressively got worse but was intermittent. Jeep owners know why I disregarded this as “quirk”. So I scheduled to have a part replaced due to a slow leak, it was an oil cooler housing. I took it in, they replaced it, and then when I was waiting for my car I noticed it in the parking lot and the guys were under the hood. It was closing time so no big deal, Cody advised it’s an overheating issue they’d be done in a sec. I drove it away and it seemed fine, I picked my daughter up from softball and upon return home my car just stopped. I hit the gas and nothing happened. I contacted them the next morning after discovering it was a clip that was not properly put back. They towed my vehicle at no cost to me, brought it back, fixed it and apologized assured me it was good and it has been since. Today, I replaced my tires and I asked my tire guys if they heard that noise. The one I mentioned earlier in my review. They showed me a picture, which I’ve attached, that shows a bolt missing from when my brakes were done and a metal piece where it shouldn’t be. They found a bolt and fixed it at no cost to me which I appreciated. Honestly even after the clip mishap I was still willing to give Rich’s auto 5 stars, but after finding out that yet again another small detail was missed I think the guys in the back need to be trained better. I work on the outside of my car myself and I put all my bolts in my pockets for this reason, it seems simple enough. Anyway, use at your own risk, I do give them credit for fixing the mistake they made and not trying to charge me for it. I was also nice so maybe that’s something the negative reviews don’t have in common.

This is the only shop I trust with my cars. I'm new to the area and was recommended to try it out. They have great customer service and warm professional people. Not only did they fix a car of mines that no one could figure out, they did it in a timely fashion. I recommend this place for my own family and anyone else. From a old classic to a the newer cars, THEY CAN FIX IT. If you want to get back on the road take it there. The owner is a nice guy and cares about his customers. From loner cars to refreshments in the waiting area. Thank you guys for your work

A dreadful experience. Incompetent and dishonest. Drove my car in for relatively simple repairs which should take 2-3 days in shop. After 36 days, Rich’s hadn’t finish repairs and couldn’t even get the car started. I paid them $1,482 to get my car out of there. I had it towed ($200) to another shop who fixed it in 2-1/2 hours ($305). Cody, the manager was rude and condescending several times when I asked about why it was taking so long to repair. Zoe, the owner, refused to respond to several phone calls to discuss my dissatisfaction. Just a terrible experience!
