The market is full the space is really tight. You can find products that I haven't seen in some other Latin markets. I feel like I'm in Mexico. They are open even in Hollydays. You can save a few dollars but be prepared for some intense aromas

Second rate market with high prices. Not very clean inside. Shopping carts are scarce and hard to find or not available.

This supermarket is great until you head to the corner backend of the supermarket where you're blasted with a horrible and toxic smell of mold and mildew coming from the ceiling. Its in the area where the eggs and freezers are located. I looked up and there it was. Black mold covering the ceiling, the columns, beams. I used to go there with my mom before she passed away and it brings back nice memories, but I have to go there because the lines at the Neighborhood Walmart are just horrible. When I go here I have to in and get out fast. Feel sorry for the workers that have to smell that nauseating smell all day. They are probably used to it and they probably don't know how dangerous it is. I told the cashier but she was oblivious. No response. I go for the produce and Hispanic products. Their sprouts are dirt cheap. The cashiers are friendly and there are no lines. Parking is ample. I compared it to Franks Fresh Fruit nearby and this has much better produce and prices.

Walking into this supermarket brings me back to the 1970s when it was a Grand Union. It looks pretty much the same which makes it worth visiting just for that. They have the best selection of turron and Hispanic soft drinks of any store in Miami and lots of other interesting food products from Latin America. Unless you go during peak shopping hours there is never a long line and people are always very friendly.
