“Pricy, but keep your eyes open for good specials. I go often and walk straight to my spots. Occasional misleading signage has stung me a few times, but manager cheerfully explained it to me. Store is immaculate, a/c is roaring, no squeaky or dirty carts; cashiers are friendly, quick & bilingual. Their guava empanadas at the front door have a local reputation. Very nice selection of cut flowers. This is a really well run, fully staffed store. And their accurate weight scale is part of my routine on my way home from the gym.”

Bigger and more modern than Publix on 41st in Doral (older store design), Publix Downtown Doral (a new store but still smaller than this store), and the store at 58th and 107th.Those are 3-star stores. I'll start driving past all the Publix stores that are close to me to visit this store more often for sure.”

“This Publix is pretty spacious and has most of what your heart desires (except for a Cafecito station). There's a lot of free parking. I like that they have self-checkouts - you never see any long lines. I feel like it's organized a bit differently than other Publix' because it took me some time to find everything. I greeted in Spanish and she said nothing back, she didn't has to. Her face said it all. Apparently she disliked it. I'm assuming that she is not a Spanish speaker like the rest of the staff. It doesn't matter to me, but she could have said "Good morning! I don't speak Spanish" and I would have switched to what was appropriate to her.”

“Oh my goodness RUN, do not walk, to Martinez Distributors. I had been here years ago to find pork shoulder for a NYE party and completely forgot about it until today. Once again, I was in the market for a pork shoulder and my Tia recommended I go here. Located in the Doral warehouse district this is a no frills spot to get any kind of meat and seafood you desire for a ridiculously good price. Think of it like a Costco but without needing a membership, and with more meat variety when it comes to cuts and sizes. This is a great spot to go to if you're planning a larger party as they have a ton of sausages, things to picar, and meat and seafood to choose from. I picked up tuna steaks for $6.99 (8 oz portion) as well as a 11 lb bonelesss pork shoulder for under $30. I will definitely be back for their assortments of cheeses, arepas, and cured meats (hellooo jamón ibérico). I also noticed they have frozen empanadas and other bakery items that looked perfect for my freezer or party prep. The service is really friendly and I found it to be clean and easy to navigate. There's a parking lot as well as street parking. I'd suggest coming during the week, as I did hear on the weekends it gets crazy. This morning I went before 10 am and I was in and out in 15 min. I will most definitely be back.”
