We highly recommend Abaco Freight! They really came to our rescue when the electric outboard for our dinghy died in Marsh Harbour and needed a repair part shipped from the states. Given it was the busy Christmas shipping season we had low hopes for getting it to the Abacos anytime soon—especially when the parts vendor messed up the shipping—but Kimber received it in Florida on the 21st and we had it in hand in Marsh Harbour on the 23rd. Not having to row the boat to shore anymore is about the best Christmas gift we can imagine!

By far the most accommodating and reliable freight service in Abaco. Kimber and her team have gone above and beyond for our family on numerous occasions. We have also used their port-consolidation service and the local pick-up service for items that were shipped to Abaco the next morning. The new charter service is a great addition as it can be difficult to find last-minute flights to and from Abaco these days. Both the service and flight were great (coming from a nervous flyer). I used this outfit to get a small plumbing fixture to the islands that I needed in a hurry as I had renters without hot water. I overnighted an item to their West Palm address. It got there Friday morning. They didn't ship it til the Monday or Tuesday, they promised we would have it cleared thru customs Tuesday PM. Meanwhile I asked them to invoice me, twice. Kimber was the person I dealt with. The second time I asked them to invoice me, on the Tuesday, I explicitly told them NOT to collect from my friend who was picking up the item. Well they ignored that, sent me no invoice, and my friend had to pay them $75 for a box about 8" cubed in order to get them to release the item on Wednesday, a day later than they promised. They didn't invoice me until the Thursday. Not knowing they had been paid already, I paid their fraudulent invoice online. When I found out the invoice had already been paid by my friend in cash, I asked for a refund. They refused to refund my credit card (said "quickbooks does not allow that" which is lie no.1). Kimber put the blame for the matter back on me saying that they had billed me the "night before the flight" (which would have been a Sunday night) and that I had not paid the bill so they had to collect cash (lie no 2). I received no bill on Sunday, no bill on Monday, no bill on Tuesday, and no bill on Wednesday. They didn't bill me until the Thursday, after they had already been paid in cash the day before. I don't think this was a mistake. The icing on the cake was a lot of lip from Kimber when I asked her to credit my card for the duplicate payment. She told me that my friend would have to go back (drive the 50 miles round trip back to their office) with his receipt and get a refund in cash, without apology. In fact the opposite of an apology, she made out it was all my fault for not paying the invoice which she omitted to send; and when she finally sent it, it was fraudulent because no money was owed at that point. She then proceeded to lecture me for being nasty, which is an exaggeration, over "such a small thing" as she put it, and told me to "have a nice day", and we all know what that means. An attitude adjustment is in order.
