Our Alamo experience was frustrating and created a stressful start to our holiday.We have never rented car seats with a vehicle (preferring the safety of our own seats) but traveling alone with two young children made that challenging. I understand and respect that for liability reasons, they cannot assist with installing car seats. But the attendants could not tell us what the brand of the car seat even was to check the installation videos online to ensure we were installing safely and said "most people just take the stickers off," and shrugged. In addition, the car seat available was small with minimal adjustment options, leaving us stuck with putting our 5yo in a high back booster.In addition, we booked a midsize SUV which was sufficient for our needs and they 'upgraded' us to a Ford Explorer that was unpleasant to drive, had multiple significant dings in the windshield, and had a persistent rattling while driving. The reason for the 'upgrade' was because when we arrived there wasn't a clear explanation that we needed to claim a car in the available lot, and someone else took each of the two midsize SUVs.Overall, I would not recommend Alamo if choosing a car rental agency at PBI, particularly with kids.

The lovely staff person, Star, at the Alamo desk at PBI airport was very professional, welcoming and cheerful. A gentleman brought our car to us when we arrived at the pick up location. Great service

all my experiences at PBI airport have been perfect. Love Jai.Rented a car in Vero Beach Airport in February, terrible!! The person at the reception desk was rude, and annoyed by a question, in addition to when I asked where the car was, she just waved her arm. Went in that direction, and of course, had to come back for a more specific explanation, and got the same response, with "by the fence". Ok, drive the car, which on day 2 find out car cannot go over 45mph without shaking, the rear headrest was missing, and the tires were bald. Go back to Vero Rental exchange, tell me they have no cars, go to the other Vero location, where they have no cars, and the attendant says, "why didn't they call first.He has my cell" All in all, couldn't go anywhere that I had to drive over 45, car was unsafe, filthy, and service was terrible. I will continue to use Alamo, as I have for the past 20 years at PBI, but apparently have to look for another car rental company in Vero Beach Airport.

We were returning Alamo customers. When we asked to see a broken-down invoice of the fees and the $400 "deposit," the manager Jeff told us he didn't have the time to help us, and blacklisted us. Sorry to see that a company we used to value for customer service has gone downhill.

Fantastic, polite and happy customer service!Sped in and sped out on pick up.On after hours return was delighted to find happy workers on hand and shuttle bus that left for airport 15 minutes before advertised (in other words, no waiting!)THE BEST!

This was my first time renting with Alamo and it was a great experience. The shuttle at PBI airport came quickly. Upon arrival at the rental location, I was immediately greeted by staff and directed to select my car from any in it's category. The cars were all under a roof, so if it were raining you would stay dry while choosing your vehicle. Highly recommend.

Everything up until the gate experience on check out was good. Even though there were only two cars ahead of us, we were in line at the gate for over 10 minutes. When I asked her why, obviously she needs to assign the vehicle and check my license as they do at the Aisle (for National). But she needed to see and match the credit card to make sure I was who I said I was. Wait, wouldn’t the license check accomplish this? This process took 2 minutes for each car, but was unnecessary, as we had provided the card info online at reservation!

The people staffing the West Palm Beach Airport location are extremely friendly, caring and professional. They have gone "above and beyond" in helping me several times in the past couple months. The checkout people are very helpful too!

One of the best rental car locations in the country. Super friendly, this last time not as helpful as previously when selecting car but was after 5, maybe the day time team is trained better to be helpful.The car I chose was excellent except way to low for us mature folks. First time having a problem with this location and was willing to move to less expensive car but was not given any choices. Will keep it at 5 stars as all other rentals were extremely good service except this time.

Alamo is the best when it’s comes to car rental. They always provide new clean car. Their customer service simply the best!!
