Customer service wasn't the way I was expected

Needed a battery for my vehicle. This was the closest parts store to my location at the time. This is the busiest parts store I have ever been in. I waited in line for 40 minutes for a battery. There were 3 people working there, and the line just kept growing.

Why is it that I have to pay for a part that I need to exchange due to it being defective because this store doesn't have it in stock? I asked can you have one transferred here and I was told I had to pay for it in order for it to be transferred. My wife has worked in parts for a long time and typically transferring between stores doesn't require a customer to pay for something to be transferred from another store. The morning/day shift I always have a problem with here. Let alone not one person on shift spoke clear English. So what they were saying did not make sense.

Apparently if you call in to have apart pulled you're not a customer so you will hold 15+ minutes. The guy on the phone literally said I have customers I cant help you and put me on hold. Complete joke.

Online it says clearly that the store closes at 9 but they have a girl at the door sending everyone home at 8 saying store closes at 8 , but online it say 9 everyday

I waited in line 30 minutes to try to return some tools that a worker told me to get and said would work on my car just for them to be the wrong size then when I finally try to return the tools that are in perfect condition the cashier said I can’t return them even though they are brand new and the wrong size that I wanted (just go to a different autozone this one sucks)
