“If you are reading this and have been considering visiting, here is the run down and everything you need to know. Dress code is fairly casual here. You can come in shorts and a t-shirt, or a blazer and tie if you’d like. If you want to feel most comfortable for guys I would wear a polo and shorts or pants. Parking is free and accessible, with a lot attached to the property. I would recommend arriving 15 minutes before the service to take your seat. They have water bottles and coffee provided, and it’s entirely free. Sit wherever you find an opening, there are no “assigned seats.” Some weekends the balcony isn’t open, but otherwise it’s totally fine to sit up there. If you have a Bible bring it, and if not it is not a problem, one is at your seat.Family Church is very approachable! If you’re nervous that you will stand out or be called out at any point do not be. If you want to meet and speak with the pastor and church staff there is an informal opportunity at the end, but nobody will make you do anything outside of your comfort zone. The church is generally fairly contemporary, but in a beautiful classical building, with a firm Bible preaching theology. The messages are very applicable and easy to follow! It’s not an appeal to emotionalism, and rather interesting and thoughtful messages everyone needs to hear. If you are thinking about going I highly recommend. This is an incredibly welcoming and faithful church and it won’t be intimidating whatsoever. It’s small enough that it is comfortable, and big enough it isn’t awkward. There is a separate service at the same time for children, but they’re welcome to sit in the main service with you if you’re more comfortable. I absolutely recommend this church for anyone who is curious and looking for a community! Wonderful people and church environment!”
