Can't get ahold of anyone and they will have a transfer go through and after you've used the fund's transfered they will say the transfer did not go through and put your account in negative. They have great deals but such a pain of a bank to work with.

This place is ATROCIOUS, I had a small loan I paid off in full, and they continued to deduct automatic payments from my checking account. After speaking with several customer service representatives and going back and forth, they told me to go into a branch in person to close my "savings account" I never asked for. All this after I previously told them to close my account, and they acknowledged that they would do so. Save yourselves the headache of terrible customer service and go elsewhere!!!

Terrible. All I wanted to do was open a new account. Was recommended to someone. Called all day, left a message no response until late in the day. Went in to just set up an account with anyone and they couldn't do that. Me now turned off decided to not open account.

On December 20th I gor approved for.a.loan to help consolidate my debts at the best rate and I had the pleasure of working with Nicole Garcia she went above and beyond hee job duties to assist me she was extremely helpful and been professional she called me and gave me updates on my loan she was the best representative that I have ever had there needs to be more like her Thank you so much Nicole Garcia

I have had a good experience with this credit union until now. It is the holiday and I did not receive my direct deposit. I usually receive my direct deposit a day early which is a great perk, however, I did not receive it for thanksgiving. My employer also did payroll days earlier to ensure we received our funds. So now, I can not buy food on thanksgiving. Due to this reason, I will be closing my accounts.

I have an auto loan with Guardians Credit Union. The rate is a great rate. I have no complaints about their products. The customer service is atrocious! They are reporting erroneous information on my Experian report and refuse to update it. That and the inability to actually get anyone on the phone are my biggest complaints with this credit union. I have filed complaints with the appropriate regulatory agencies because the people who work there refuse to fix their issues.

Wow the horrible reviews on this place and they do nothing to improve?? Who is in charge?? This bank is horrible! The customer service is the worst. Everyone is rude and lazy, they never pick up the phone. I can't even check to see what's in my bank account because they changed there app and you have to go through hell and back to set up the new app. I'm done with this bank.

Guardians has gotten to big for themselves to handle. multiple times they have taken money from my checking with no notification because their system thinks my car payment is behind. I use the auto pay right out of my paycheck and have never been late. they have corrected it multiple time and keeps happenin. you call you wait on hold for an hour and the call center can't help you and promise someone will call you back. that don't happen. dont bother emailing or leaving a message on the website, that don't work either. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE

Worse bank EVER!!!! Customer service is not even a 1 star. I have been with many banks and this one is by far the worse. There is nothing convenient about this bank. EVERY.SINGLE. TIME. have to wait to speak with someone. They say they are short staffed but yet their tellers just sit there in between but yet you sit in the lobby for other services...in hello why train tellers to beyond at least get ball rolling while working with other customers. The lack of communication especially requirements is the worse of the worse I have seen. Their app is so basic and cannot do any banking what so ever that you have to go the bank to take care of banking needs. Which you have spend hours at!!! Be prepared to wait and spend our day off at any locations!!!! If I can EVER close accounts after 3 attempts due to their lack of communication, I cannot wait to be done with this bank!!! I would not recommend them, period. All I hear the tellers say to customers is "that is not my job, I don't know, etc etc"

I'm a new member and had a very positive experience. The credit unio helped me consolidate my high interest rate credit cards to their no interest balance transfer program. What a blessing to have 14 months of interest free payments. I call this service that cares about people! Carol S.

Although it's hard to reach the branch by telephone, I have always received excellent face-to-face service at Guardians CU. Everyone has been polite, patient, and very helpful. Special shout-outs to Eddie D. and Nikita T. They each took extra time to help me through a crisis. I will always be grateful.

I rarely write reviews, but I have been going around in circles for months. When I call I do not get connected to anything or anyone. Guardians recently could not authenticate my accounts through my Mint App. I have been able to see all my accounts in Mint for years and never had a problem. I spoke to someone who said wait for the upgrade. Well, I have waited for months and it is still not working. I can access my account on the Guardian app and website, so I know my passwords are working. The second issue I have tried repeatedly to correct is changing my landline to my cell. It does not make sense for the landline to receive a passcode. You would think this would be something I could just change or add. Something is not quite right?

If there was "0" Star option - it would fit! Wow look at all your negative reviews!! I have to agree- seems that most all these reviews come back to one very important aspect of a company -CUSTOMER SERVICE (Guardians needs to invest in a company to train your company on what is required to treat your customers right) I had been with Palm Beach Community Credit union (PBCC) for around 10 ++years- the people that worked there, actually cared about their customers. I had several of the loan officers and banking representatives direct extension numbers and email addresses. I had several car loans and had always paid them off in full. I had a healthy rapport and would go into their small office and greet the ladies in the Fort Pierce FL location regarding my banking needs. Guardians credit union comes in and buys out Palm Beach Community Credit union and you treat your customers like crap.I asked for their corporate contact information & I was given the general "contact us online form".. Long hold times on the telephone that exceed 30+ minutes, you give the option to leave our phone number for call back, and I would never receive one; I would have to send an email for follow up and that doesn't even get attention.Your representatives are rude and can't speak clearly and when I have emailed them, they can't even follow through and get what I have asked to get done correctly, let alone return my calls.Guardians closed both my credit card and line of credit accounts without even advising me. I did nothing wrong to your company. My payments were always on time, and never late. Now I receive communication from the Credit Bureau reporting that Reads GUARDIANS CU account was either settled on for less than the balance or closed because you haven't used it in awhile, and neither of those are true!! I still owe and will continue paying. I didn't deserve this type of treatment from your company, Nor should anyone else - looking at the reviews left here, your company leaves a lot to be desired. We all know (Joe will respond & say contact us now and let's talk - yea no thank you, you had your chance to keep me as a customer, I asked for corporate contact information) I'll take my money out and keep my loyalty at iThink Financial Credit Union - locations in Florida & Georgia -they care about their customers, they have new locations opening up everywhere- making it easier for transactions. I'll attach iThink information below, and definitely give a good recommendation to iThink Financial Credit Union.

They updated the appearance and forgot about customer service. Signed in to be assisted and spoke to no one. No greetings, no communication on the wait times, nothing. Signed into a computer to be qued for next available banker and people who didn't sign in and had personal relationships on first name basis were assisted, no sign in required. Same ethnicity and friendship gets you service at this branch. I waited close to a hour in the lobby not one employee engagement. No excuse for this type of treatment. If you are looking for a good credit union I dnt recommend.

My husband and I have been with this bank for about 6 years. I borrowed two secured loans on separate occasions. The first loan was $8,000, that was paid off on time and the second loan was $18,000, which was also paid off on time. You can imagine my surprise when I was denied a regular loan for $10,000 recently, with a 637 credit score, decent credit & great income. I wasn't perturbed on my denial. However, when my husband loan application was denied, I hit the roof! He has a six figure income and a credit score of over 650. A loan rep called my husband once, after the initiation of the loan app and left a message. my husband tried several times to reach him but to no avail. A few days after, he received a letter in the mail from Guardians, stating that his loan was denied but no reason was given as to why. My husband belong to another credit union and was able to secure an amount more than the loan he requested through Guardians. I eventually called Guardians and demanded an explanation as to why my husband was denied a loan but was able to gain approval the other credit union within one day of making the loan application. I really suspect that it is OUR RACE. You see, Guardians credit union requests your ID along with the submission of your application; is it a way to weed out certain individuals?! I HESITATE to play the Race card but I had to drop that here. It is beyond me why our application was denied after having a relationship with the bank for so long; or so I thought!. IDs should only be requested on the approval of a loan. I will be closing all our account with Guardians. It is an unkind world we are living in today for people of color, especially when we're dealing with the monetary system.
