First I wanted to commend Dick's Sporting Goods for their involvement in the recent installation of EV charging stations, which brought me into the store to check out new clubs and replacement spikes. However, during my visit, I encountered a concerning issue regarding theft prevention.
When I asked for a package of spikes, the employee brought me one that had a cut in the bag, making it easy for someone to steal items instead of purchasing them. He later returned with another package, and once again, it had a cut in it. I was shocked to hear from the employee that theft is a significant problem, mentioning instances of individuals stuffing golf clubs down their pants and using tools to remove club heads.
What troubled me even more was his comment that employees cannot act to stop theft for fear of termination. This policy seems not only unfair but also places unnecessary liability on employees, who are left feeling powerless in a situation that directly impacts the store's profitability.
I believe that investing in better security measures could help prevent theft and protect employees, who are doing their best in a tough environment. Stores like Dick's Sporting Goods should prioritize both the safety of their staff and the integrity of their products. I am hopeful to hear back regarding this issue, as I believe there are effective strategies that could help address the ongoing theft problem and enhance the work environment for employees. I would be more than willing to share my insights and suggestions to help improve the situation.

Anthony was so helpful today at Dick’s Wellington. He helped us find soccer cleats for my daughter and went through several pairs and sizes before finding the perfect pair. Also he helped with some shorts my husband has been trying to find forever. He was patient and knowledgeable. Best customer service I’ve had in a loooooong time!

A 0 star I called them to set aside sambas for me I said white n black sim bad not black n white sambas mind you I live 30 mins away so when I asked I asked them do they have my size they said yes and put it aside for me so when I get there I can just pay I go there and ask for my order name they gave me the wrong shoes. I said white and black not black n white so I don’t understand how they got that two mixed up so they told me they can help me at the shoe department I went to they said they gonna look for it in the bakc they came back and told me they don’t have nothing mind you my birthday In 2 days that was a low service.

I'm a Marine Corp Veteran, and in the past I always got a 10% discount, so I looked up on line to see if they still do... some stores do and the others is up to the mangers discretion.. so I asked I believe her name is Samantha... she didn't hesitate to say no!!! Without even trying to ask the next chain of command.... She said only on Veterans day.. so I proceeded by saying maybe we should just protect you only on veterans day? 🤔 So just a heads up to any veterans in the WPB FL. area...

Went in on a Saturday looking for work shoes and it was BUSY. Luckily I had the help of Sly on the sales for. He was very friendly and very helpful. He helped me pick out a new pair of shoes, made the process fast at the same time. At the register we were rung out by Melanie, another great person on their staff. She was so nice, and a delight to encounter at the register. These two associates made the trip that much better!

with my daughters softball gear this guy not only was knowledgeable but had a great attitude and patience as picking out gear can be stressful wish I got the name of the employee but would definitely recommend.

Absolutely the best customer service I’ve ever received! Thomas (the gentleman who pulls and fills the online orders) helped me make my son’s birthday by locating the Ronaldo jersey that he requested. I called in before making the hour drive to this location and he helped make the process easy and even fun.
Thomas went above and beyond!!! People like him have a special place in this world and he deserves all the praise for his kindness, patience and just genuine effort in helping people.
Thank you, Thomas! You made my son’s day and he won’t take this jersey off now 😂🫣

I had a very positive experience with Angel in the Bikes and Training division at Dicks earlier today evening. I needed support to tune up my son’s bicycle after an year of no use. I called the store and was connected with Angel at the bikes department who was professional and courteous wirh a ready to help attitude asking me to come over anytime before 8 pm. I brought in the bike and Angel spent 30 minutes explaining and walking me through the steps he performed to tune the bike.He checked air presuure. The gears, brakes and pedals to ensure the bike was safe to ride. With his knowledge and pleasant demeanor, Angel stood out

I had an outstanding shopping experience at Dick's Sporting Goods, thanks to Daniel and Jason! They went above and beyond to make sure I found exactly what I needed. Daniel was incredibly knowledgeable and patient while helping me choose the right shoes, and Jason provided excellent customer service with a smile. He was also very knowledgeable about exchanging a pair of shoes and even reminded me that I had a $10 reward to use! Their teamwork and dedication to providing top-notch service made my visit truly enjoyable. It's rare to encounter such a high level of professionalism, and I will definitely be returning because of their exceptional assistance.

We usually get our mouth guards online but the ones at Dick’s were reasonably priced! Great for sports shoes, cleats & almost every sport or outdoor activity you’d want to do. They usually price match. The bummer is they longer give military discounts.
