The quality of the furniture exceeded my expectations, and I couldn't be happier with my purchase. I purchased the warranty and later found out that it does not pertain to lights. The lights are only guaranteed for 7 days after purchase I was informed months later. They do not install the lights so by the time you find someone to install you may be out of your warranty.I was offered a 40% credit for an inoperable light, I refused at first because I am out of a light. I requested the part for the light and they refused to give me the transformer.I later spoke with my sales person who explained the light warranty to me and I agreed to take the 40% credit. I waited 3 months for an item that was $250 and they wanted me to pay $150 for delivery!While waiting to get approval to pick up the $250 table I was told now my store credit was dropped down to 27% instead of 40% because I took to long to accept the offer!!I furnished my entire home with Modani and it comes down to a $65 difference that they refuse to give me due to timing!I asked Gary in customer service to speak with his supervisor and he informed me that they do not talk on the phone!I am very disappointed with the customer service department. Most companies are helpful and want to do everything to keep you coming back. I did not ask for anything unreasonable.

I have used Modani several times in the past. I am having an issue with the warranty company that they use. Sold me the policy. The warranty company is refusing to help.When I try to contact the local store, I did not receive a call back many times. I actually had to go to the store to ask for help. Finally receiving a VM.Because of the delay in getting back to me, my warranty was denied because it was three days over the time. Period. When I’ve spoken to people at Modani, they have refused to intervene or to help in anyway. This is not good customer service, OK

Doing this review for my father-in-law:Despite placing an order on September 6th, the store omitted a desk and chair. A re-order was made on October 6th, with a promised delivery date of November 2nd. Yet, as of today, the desk and chair remain undelivered. When my father-in-law reached out to the sales associate, Chris, the encounter was marked by rudeness and unprofessionalism. Chris insisted that delivery wouldn’t be possible until the 8th, which poses a problem as this is a vacation home.This store’s conduct is deeply disappointing. It’s disheartening to see such a lack of care for the customer once they have secured the payment. They have even refused to deliver the furniture on either November 3rd or November 5th. This level of disregard is simply unacceptable, especially considering the significant amount my father-in-law has invested in this store.

I spoke with Barbara at customer service, and she was easy to understand and she gave me options. She was courteous and listened to my concerns. She arranged for the return of an item that had a defective part . I asked for the pick up to be on a certain date, and she made that happen . We are happy with the other purchases we made from Modani.

James Brown rocks this location. He’s easy to deal with and there is no pressure. Way better service than City furniture. City will partially drop ship your order and use you house a living room. Waiting game. Ugh. Make this your first stop. Supper happy!

They’ve been very helpful in replacing my sofa that had an electrical problem with raising and lowering the recliner. Very satisfied with Modoni and will continue buying furniture there.

My husband & I recently visited the West Palm location. Jake Golstein, Design Consultant, was a pleasure to work with while we looked at many pieces of furniture. Jake is extremely patient and has a vast amount of product knowledge. Thanks to Jake we had a fantastic buying experience and chose a beautiful dining table.

We bought a bed set at Modani a delivered four weeks later. The bed showed up with scratches all over the bed. And it showed up without screws to even put the bed together. I called to let them know, and they said that this was the last existing model of this bed, and it cannot be replaced. I also bought furniture to match this bed set, which all had to be returned. Just moving into a new house. We slept on the floor. We went back to buy another bed set, we got nothing but an apology, we got no compensation on the next bedside even though we went back to them after the terrible experience. Two weeks later, I received an email that the exact bed set that I bought was now $200 less than what I paid for. I called to see if I can get reimbursed for the $200 because of the advertisement. They said I had to call the Fort Lauderdale office where the manager was, after four calls and no return phone call I just simply gave up. If you want a totally un-empathetic and uncaring experience, than go to this company for furniture. They do not care about you only your money. No wonder no one is in the store, no wonder no one has ever heard of them, the customer service is the absolute worst. I would go back and spend tons of money, but rather give anyone my business based on their poor customer service training, standards and real life experience. At least call me back and tell me you won’t give me a compensated discount, your management team has poor communication skills and worse customer service. Too bad, I like giving good reviews, I don’t like giving bad ones.

I worked with Diego Garcia at Modani's West Palm Beach, FL, location. He was professional and a good ambassador for the Modani brand. The loss of star is attributable to the Modani brand which would not agree to an easy customizing request. Diego readily provided customer service contact information for me to pursue my custom request. Will visit in the future.

We saw Modani in NYC when we were moving to West Palm. We drove a couple times in 2016 to Miami to buy a beautiful Movido bed. We are so sorry now.First the leather quality is horrible. The pull down pillow had paper thin leather which disintegrated and I don't sit against it.Second the bed assembly was way worse than Ikea. No pre drilled hole for the bed mounts. I complained at the time but that never mae it in to my file.We actually went into the WPB store when they opened but they only wanted to talk about selling us something. That is all this company seems to be concerned with.I was disassembling the bed to toss it and noticed zippers on the pull down pillows.I called CS to see if I could buy some new leather cases (in any color, they must have some). Nope. "Buy a new bed."So a few years in we have a $1700 piece of junk. Shame on Modani. If you bought from them hope you have insurance,I called three times. The first two hung up immediately. The third time she found my order and said there was nothing they could do. "We don't sell parts".I am quite sure the warehouse has some odds and ends from other issues but that number was disconnected.NOT RECOMMENDED
