I bought a half gallon of publix today 11-16-24 and
it cost $4.15, that is more
than a gallon of gas . You
should be able to buy a
whole gallon for the price
of gas today, which is
hovering around $2.79 to
$3.15 a gallon. This what I call price gouging. It needs
be lowered or some people
are going stop buying the
half-gallon chocolate milk.
Like me I don't buy it as
much as I use to because
It's getting to high in price
for the publix brand chocolate milk,why that's
more than MacArthur
chocolate milk almost 40
cents more.

Recently remodeled store. Is smaller with less selection than some. Parking can be difficult. Prepared foods, bakery and all the typical Publix amenities. Clean and typically a rather busy store.

I love Publix but the Deli at this location is just so terrible. This is my local store and I tend to goto different locations because of this issueā¦
Update (10/1/2024): the deli is still the absolute worst deli Iāve ever been to. You stand in line to wait, the deli worker doesnāt acknowledge you standing at the counter. You ask for what you want and you get no response, they just walk around without a care in the world. āStore Managerā John says itās getting better and they know about this issue. Itās the same itās always beenā¦
Update (3/10/2025): Same scenario in the deli, used the app to have lunch meat and cheese sliced and ready for pick up while shopping and the order wasnāt ready, they didnāt even notice until I asked about it. āStore Managerā John happened to be standing right there when it happened and he knew right away how far heās let his store get away from him. Only 3 cash registers open with no less than 40 customers waiting to check out. The gentleman that checked us out was complaining how they have some many employees calling out everydayā¦
Update (3/11/2025): Same scenario as before, placed order through the Publix App and still took me asking and another 20 minutes to have some ham sliced. āStore Managerā John was seen kicking young kids out of the store, asked him about the issues and his excuse was they just canāt hire any staff, if they do they just quit in a few weeks. Sounds like a management isnāt trained on employee retention

The employees are nice but this location is woefully understaffed. I feel sorry for thr cashiers. The last time I was there ( on a weekend) only 3 registers were open and the lines were loooooooong and slow.

I call the bakery for the amount of 20 cupcakes and the lady who answered the phone had no compassion whatsoever. Nonetheless I was able to call another publix and they were able to make it happen for me within the space of time that this store couldnt accommodate.

It was good until one of the meat employees lied to me about a piece of meat that was on sale to be very tender. I knew it wasn't true, so I asked another meat department employee. She wasn't sure but thought I was correct. So she went and asked another employee, and they said we were correct. It was a tougher cut of meat and is best cooked slowly to become tender. It's not like it's sister cut that is from the hind end and is more tender and is great to be grilled. So, I will not trust that employee who lied. I already knew the answer. But I test people just for this reason. To see who is a dedicated employee and care for the customers. Not lie just to get rid of something. Needless to say, I didn't buy anything from there. I went back to my store.

Tonya at the Deli making sandwiches is the greatest of all time. Iāve never taken the time out of my day to genuinely write a review but she takes time to ask me how my day while preparing the best damn sandwich Iāve had from any Publix Iāve been to in my 26 years. She makes the sandwiches with love. Publix is lucky to have her as an employee. I waited in line and let people skip me to chill and get my food with Mrs.Tonya! Iād do the same if I were you

I hate doing this because I shop here daily but I swear the deli gets worse by the day. It's absolutely horrible! The staff couldn't move any slower if they tried. I even tried ordering ahead and gave them a extra 30 mins past the pick up time, yet I'm still standing here 40 mins later. They still haven't even started it. Publix plz hire better staff
