EXTREMELY RACIST EMPLOYEE.
I was a regular here at raceway and so is my uncle who owns a landscaping business, used to come into raceway with his entire crew every morning! He told me he no longer goes to the store because a while ago a white woman by the name of “April” was being extremely racist toward him and his workers. April told my uncle he should be speaking spanish because this is america and that she was tired of helping hispanic people. Some of the other landscapers tell me that this particular employee would straight up deny them service or just outright ignore them while they are standing at the register waiting to pay. I am a haverhill homeowner so i frequent this store a lot and so do my friends and relatives, and i’ve been told this isn’t the first time that particular employee has been racist toward a customer!
This is completely disgusting, Although this incident happend a while ago, I wish my uncle would have told me about this incident much sooner that way i wouldn’t continue spending my money with this place! An owner who allows an employee to treat customers this way with no consequences should be out of business.
My uncle is a Good man, a hardworking man, and neither he or any of his crew members deserve to be spoken to like that.
it’s such a shame that one bad apple ruined this store for me, as i really enjoyed coming here, most of the employees are absolutely wonderful and helpful, I just cannot take what happend to my family member lightly. I hope the business owner understands this type of employee is a lawsuit waiting to happen. I’ll be sure to tell my friends and family to avoid this store as we are hispanic!

Raceway has fresh brewed ice tea. There is plenty of gas pump. Large restrooms. And of course, the ice cream bar!

I don't know what the issue is?? But it seems like every time I go into this store late night. The employees are sleeping.And or not at around... And if they are at the counter, then they are rude because it seems as if I'm bothering them. I came into the store to get gas and buy a cpl of other things. They were very rude and unprofessional. If your going to be in customer service than maybe they should be retrained. I think I will find another store to go to from now on....

EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL AND IRRESPONSIBLE. On April 6th 4:20 am i came into this store to purchase some items….I walked to the register and realized there was nobody there, I walked around for some time yelling out and nobody was attending the store, i tried knocking on the bathroom but it was empty, No employee came to help me and the store was completely left unattended, I ended up leaving without buying anything because no one was there to ring me up, I walked out and alerted customers coming in that there was nobody working the register….I then witnessed an employee exit the passenger seat of a vehicle that they were LAYING DOWN IN, SEAT RECLINED AND EVERYTHING, AS IF THEY WERE TAKING A BREAK, YOUR EMPLOYEE LEFT THE STORE UNATTENDED WHILE HE WAS IN HIS VEHICLE LAID BACK ON HIS PHONE. I HAVE VIDEO PROOF OF NOBODY IN THE STORE AS WELL AS THE EMPLOYEE WHO WAS IN HIS VEHICLE. THIS IS COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE, IRRESPONSIBLE, AND UNPROFESSIONAL. The vehicle was there before i parked so that means your employee saw me park, walk into the store, while he remained in his vehicle without a care in the world…i was walking around like an idiot waiting for someone to help me while the employee was in his car.
I would like to contact a higher up person in management about this because this is unacceptable. I could’ve walked in grabbed anything i wanted and walked out while your employee remained in their vehicle, It was a black male, beanie and i think a beard in a gray mercedes benz SUV. I felt extremely disrespected as a customer.

Lowest gas prices I could find. The mart was small but seemed to be well stocked. Cashier was friendly and very courteous. All that's left to say is I'll definitely go back.
