When their employee Donald isn't busy talking on his phone, ignoring customers, refusing service, failing to perform even the most rudimentary requirements of his job position and/or trying to figure how to conduct a basic register transaction; he's hurling insults and verbally abusing customers to the point of harassment. I'm a frequent customer of this Sunoco because it's only a few minutes from my home and I usually go there at least once (sometimes up to 2-3 times) a day. Since Donald began working here, there has not been a single time, in which, I HAVEN'T witnessed a demonstration of his gross incompetence during the stops I made while he was on shift. The other employees are fantastic and friendly. They're constantly having to apologize to customers and step in to "help" Donald. I feel horrible for anyone who's scheduled to work with him because they have to spend the entire shift doing their own work plus his. As if carrying his extra dead weight for 8 hrs isn't bad enough; they also have to watch in horror when he chooses to blame his own job performance inadequacies on the simple requests of customers. If it weren't for all of the excellent customer service I consistently receive from EVERY OTHER employee there, then I would've already stopped going to this Sunoco. Instead, I just make sure to avoid Donald's register during the times he happens to be "working" (look for the guy who always has ear buds around his neck & get in the opposite line!) when I go in... Until Today. Apparently, after being allowed to get away with his substandard work ethic; Donald now finds it acceptable to loudly deliver aggressive (and completely nonsensical) verbal attacks to Sunoco's customers. Any response, or lack there of, to his angry diatribe had no effect on halting the continuous hurling of insults from him. Even the attempts made by his coworkers failed to stop him from yelling. If anything, it only made him angrier & increased the intensity of the vile spewing from his mouth. In the 2 minutes it took to finish my transaction, he had been pushed back towards the employee break area in an attempt to separate the distance between him and the register I was at when they realized he wasn't going to stop yelling. He was still yelling at me when I exited the building that was full of customers. It was hateful harassment. Pure and simple. I may be the only one who takes the time to complain about him, but I'm most definitely not the ONLY disgruntled customer you stand to lose because of this employee. It doesn't matter how great your other employees are and/or how convenient living close to this location may be if I no longer feel safe to go in. I'd much rather drive out of my way & pay extra at a more expensive place than worry about whether or not I'm going to get harassed every time I walk in the door.

Over the years it's a hit or miss. Some staffers are nice but I've came across really racist treatment. I'm white and always polite, but that's just not good enough. I'll take my business elsewhere.
