I was delayed in check in because the assistant manager was late to the store but the people that were there were extremely helpful . Checking out the gentleman that checked me out was extremely rude , condescending, he even called his co worker incompetent, he should really be trained properly on how to speak to customers and what’s appropriate conversation with said customers . I have been to this location a few times and that was the worst experience I’ve ever had . Extremely disappointed

I've recently purchased a van for greater storage solutions for my family and decided to have a trailer hitch installed through U-Haul. The staff here was very accommodating and friendly and had my vehicle serviced and ready to go in about an hour. I was even able to hang out at the location while they worked on it! Great service all around. Kevin, the owner is doing good work, and has a good team.

Complete Chitshow.It took two hours to get my truck.8 people in line with 1 incompetant employee.When I got my email invoice I was charged for dollies I never asked for.DO NOT GO HERE.VERY POORLY MANAGED !!!!

Moving truck had no A/C, or fan even; completely broken. Interior of vehicle was gross, old and not well cleaned. Had a rusty seatbelt on the passenger side that I cut myself with, so now getting a tetanus shot.The online checkin process didn’t work because the staff never put the key in the right location, forcing me to go inside to get the key and complete the process.One of the desk staff was clearly on a personal call AND vaping while at the front desk. There were 3 employees at the counter, why not step out to take a break or a call - or to vape?? When I went to give the key to the truck guy, he never acknowledged me as he was on his phone (maybe work related? He could have said “I’ll be right with you” but didn’t). It wasn’t until I started walking toward the lot to get my truck that he said he had to get it for me (which I don’t really understand as the online checkin tells you the vehicle number, but whatever). He never verified that the A/C (or fan) even worked-he should have noticed before giving me the truck (and who knows if it was reported by the last renter…probably was and was ignored).This all points to poor management.So on my way to my move I noticed the A/C wasn’t working, but was meeting the movers (which I hired via the U-Haul service which were actually really nice apart from speaking very little English). I called the U-Haul number and was told that they would contact roadside assistance. I asked the rep if they send out a mobile mechanic to fix things like A/C, and he said he didn’t know. How do they not know the extent of services their own roadside contracts cover? Regardless, he texted me the number for roadside assistance and they said he would connect me. He then connected me to the main u-haul number’s phone tree that I just called! Incompetent!The vehicle maintenance, cleanliness, technology, local branch and corporate support staff are all subpar. Not my first bad U-Haul experience but hopefully my last.

If I could, I give them no stars. Workers look zoned out ,you talk to them they don’t even know what you’re saying. You ask him a question they don’t even know the answer you get there there’s nobody there to help you outside they give you dirty vehicles, it disgrace, I’m never coming back here again.

The employees on the inside was so into their conversation, the staff that was helping me was trying to sell me extra equipment insurance on top of what I already had. When I mentioned that I already have the insurance, she simply said "Oh..." and proceeded with their conversation. The staff told me that I was finished. I then had to ask her what was the next step and where to go. Outside the gentleman that helped me couldn't speak with me because he was on a his phone. So I had to ask him what is was that he needed me to do and where to go. He connected the trailer to my vehicle and gave me a thumbs up. While driving I realized the trailer was making to much noise. The gentleman did not secure the trailer properly. He connected the chains, but did not fully tighten the spring to the hitch ball. The employees I encountered were not rude, but they were not in-tune with helping customers. Unfortunately, I had to ask questions because this was my first time renting with U-Haul.

Ubox was the worst experience of my life. I would not recommend them. Customer service is not helpful. They do not honor the reservations. You never received a phone call back or are you able to talk to anyone in person. Seek out other sources for your moving needs. I will give you boxes zero if I could.

Recently I purchased a new car, Kia Seltos. I decided i wanted a trailer hitch and searched, I didnt know there was a run on them for this model. The only company i could get an appointment from was uhaul, I booked an appointment and paid for it in full for the uhaul in Palm Beach Gardens, FL. I waited for weeks, the appointment was for 8am on a Saturday. I woke up early and started to get ready on the day of the appointment, I was in the process when my phone rang, it was the uhaul location telling me that the part hadn't arrived as of friday! and that they do not do installs on the weekend! I was livid, asking why I was not contacted earlier in the week to warn me, the guy had no words and didn't care. I cancelled and told him to refund me my 300 dollars. Several days later it was refunded.I began my search again and called around only to find the item was still not in stock. So back to uhaul, I called into their customer service main number. I talked to a very nick young lady. I told her my issues and she assured me that they could get it, I picked the location on okeechobee blvd in palm beach (I had used them before) they are about 30 miles from my home. I stressed to the girl that I needed it done on a Saturday and she assured me it could be, there was no problem. We made the appointment and I waited 4 weeks for the day. It was a 10am appointment, I needed more time to get there. I had no calls from the location by this point in time. I arrived, paperwork in hand and walked inside. I was asked if it was a drop off or pick up, I said neither, I am here for a hitch installation, he says we dont do hitches on the weekends. I was looking on the shelves for a bazooka at this point, and said, I have driven all the way here and I am here for an install. So he looked up my asppointment and said your appointment was rescheduled for that Monday. I said no call? No contact, just move the appointment? and what happens when I dont show because i dont know it has changed? I was very angry, he said the part hadn't arrived anyway. I was beside myself, I said cancel it and walked out saying out loud "Another dissatisfied uhaul customer" no surprise! I was going to leave but decided to call their main number, customer service and complain. I stayed there in my car and spoke with them.They were very nice and understanding as I repeated everything that had transpired. The person was also upset and said this isnt right. So I said and he told me they didn't even have the part yet. The rep said, oh yes they do, it was delivered a while back. I said, oh so he lied to me. Then he says I will email you the escalation number so you can report this and maybe get some satisfaction. I said thank you and went inside, I said to the guy "you lied to me, the part IS here". He had no words, just said let me check. So low and behold, the part is there and I say , bring it, I am buying it right now! I pay for it and load it in my car. Now it sits in my garage till I can install it myself! The next week I call escalations and make my complaint, the girl was very understanding and credited me back 50 dollars. I said thank you, that was very nice. But in hindsight, it's a mere pittance compared to my terrible experience. She said this will be pushed up the ladder and I will be contacted, weeks later, no contact. This is a warning to all of you out there, if you see a uhaul truck on the side of the road broke down, or need something from them, avoid them at all costs, they are a terrible business and have zero customer service skills.

Congratulations to this team and specially to David and the person who installed the hitch in my car. I arrived at 9 am after other location kick me out and they did the job in less that 1 hr and not complain at all.

Rented a truck May 19th at 545pm at the last minute due to Budgets horrible experience & being stuck with no truck called got a truck..clean..great customer service.staff was amazing.this is the place to rent a truck hands down. Truck had no issues crossing the state. Uhaul forever.

They charged my card an additional $300 stating I drove 300 miles! I drove from west palm to gardens, I got the truck at 7pm and returned it at 9:30pm the same night, how is that possible. The manager Kevin was loud and rude advised me to leave and not come back as he will call me!! I will never use U-Haul services and I will be filing a formal complaint. Please take a pic of the beg and ending mileage for your records.

Their website wanted me to paste the review on Google, so here it is:Lady at the desk argued with me for 10 minutes that my reservation was canceled because I was late (it wasn't canceled). Then she told me the cancelation was emailed to me (it wasn't). Then she said she FOUND my reservation and it's for 3PM (it was for 1PM - I have the invoice and confirmation). Finally, after giving me a headache and a few straight lies with attitude, she took my license and gave me the keys.I ordered furniture dollies and appliance dollies, I was told at pickup those were not available. I had to go search for dollies at the last minute on moving day because this was not communicated in my reservation.They charged me $10 for furniture pads and those were not provided either, and I have not gone back to argue over the free $10 I gave them for their god-awful service, lies, and attitude.Never. Again.

They are rude, unapologetic, and the owner knew before creating my paperwork didn't have any dollys and still attempted to charge me for it. He has a lot to learn about customer service.

Came here for a quick, in town rental to transport a new 85" tv from the store up the street to my house. I returned the truck early (had it 90 minutes), under mileage, with gas refueled after searching an hour for a gas station that wasn't empty due to the storm/port shut down. That said, I was charged DOUBLE the original, agreed upon price on the initial paperwork ($48.90). No reason given and no response from the business after my outreach. Had to dispute with AMEX.
