“I had the most incredible experience at Tree Amigos Growers. As someone who is completely new to gardening, I walked in feeling a little overwhelmed, and walked out feeling inspired, confident, and genuinely excited to grow my own food.
John spent so much time helping me design my vertical planter tower and thoughtfully select the vegetables, strawberries, and herbs based on what I actually use in my kitchen every day. His knowledge, patience, and passion for organic gardening made the entire process fun and approachable. Instead of just selling plants, he really focused on teaching and guiding me so I could succeed.
What makes Tree Amigos Growers so special is that they are a true resource for organic gardening in South Florida. They grow a huge variety of edible, medicinal, and flowering seedlings and provide organic soil, amendments, and growing supplies, all adapted for our local climate. They even offer services where they will build and plant your garden for you using their own organic soil blends.

“I always saw the signs for this plant nursery when visiting Flamingo Gardens. One day I finally stopped to look around and was pleasantly surprised with what they had to offer. There are a number of plant nurseries on this stretch of Flamingo road and this one is rooted in the Japanese and Chinese style of gardens also known as Zen gardens which are characterized by their minimalist style and rock-and-gravel plant beds.
Zensation Gardens sells handmade concrete fountains and sculptures from Bali, an interesting selection of bonsai trees, and indoor and outdoor plants that include bamboo, palm trees, gardenias, orchids, and colorful bougainvillea. They also sell artificial grass and offer landscaping design and installations, and LED lighting for your garden. Follow them on Facebook for dates for their beginner bonsai class. If you are looking for an unusual plant or that statement garden piece, I highly recommend stopping by.”
“Orchid and Bamboo Gardens is a special place,. It has a quietness that slows you down,. Yes there are lots of little areas and beautiful settings and a very large selection of orchids at reasonable prices. Everything is well maintained and very healthy,. The people were low key unobtrusive and kind.
It's definitely worth the trip out from ft.lauderdale,. although,It was strangely harder to locate and find entrance than I could have imagined, even with Google Maps Navigation,. very strange..”

“I always visit the Garden center and grab a few things as well as quicker checkout then at the normal lines.Im truly surprised that more people do know that. The garden center lines go so fast and always shorter. Any way I needed some potting soil but also found slot of bins red and green on sale from Christmas that are perfect for the lights ornaments and other decorations. When I put them in storage they will be easy to find instead of opening olup every single one in order to find the right ones.”
