Where do i start…well my dog had an injury to his eye by a groomer. And when I noticed my dog kept closing and squinting his eye I called his normal vet and they told me they couldn’t see him until Monday (this was a Friday afternoon) the groomer did take responsibility and was able to book an appointment here at Animal Health Center at Weston the next morning even with them being packed on a Saturday morning. I am extremely grateful we were able to come to an amazing doctor as they could’ve not prioritize my dog and saw him when it was convenient. I greatly apologize I don’t remember the young lady’s name at the front desk but she was awesome in setting this up for me and communicating back and forth between myself and the groomer to get this squared away. She is very kind and patient with every person that walked through the door. Being as she was my first point of contact and first impression of the office before setting foot there, I felt she gave an outstanding representation of what the rest of the staff showed me and my dog… doctors and medical assistants alike. The doctor and carefully diagnosed the issue with his eye and gave me a very imformative treatment plan for him and followed up with the doctor in about one week. And while my little 15lb dog wasn’t too receptive to having drops in his eyes every 4-6 hrs lol I saw dramatic improvements day to day. So this review is not only the shed just a little bit of light on such an amazing facility and staff for others to help use when choosing a vet but to also say thank you publicly as I did in the office. So for anyone on the fence about which vet to choose…I encourage you to give them a shot as they are awesome with you and your pet.

I called Dr. Córdova several times and he never called me back, not even out of politeness.I wanted to tell him the day my Onix died, I was testing him that morning, and when Onix came back to my house he couldn't breathe, scared, fatigued...so I immediately took him back to this Dr thinking they could do something for him. … how can they not have oxygen and give first aid… to a little angel and see him suffer, we are in such a modern country full of resources and in this center they cannot give first aid… ????! Just as he saw him, he didn't calm me down... he didn't do anything... plus it was lunch time and he told me he had to take him to a clinic immediately, but there was so much traffic at that time and I was all sick crying, seeing my tired little angel like that, I couldn't. breathe, I was scared, I finally got to the hospital, they put him in an oxygen chamber, he was there but he didn't recover... the very good doctors in this Hospital came out every so often to give me reports on how he was... my Onix my lifeThen one of the doctors came to talk to me and told me that he was suffering for several hours a lot... we will do a little more to see if we can save him but after an hour... the doctor came out again and so that he would not suffer anymore with all the pain of my life... I had to accept that they gave him the injection and that's how he died...!But what I'm going to say is that this Mr. Córdova didn't even take the time and called me and told me what happened that morning when I was doing so many tests...the day my Onix died, when he saw that he wasn't well, he could call me and I could pick it up immediately!!! And I never had an explanation for lack of ethics... my Onix, who was my life, died, a part of my life left with him. What's happening is that people have changed so much that they no longer have affection for animals, but now the doctors, with this example from this center, have lost so many values... that for them the death of an animal is normal... I hope this Mr. Cordova has more awareness .. put more equipment and technology in your center to save the lives of the animals that are part of our family...!!!Mr!!! Put resources to saveLives... of the animals... don't do it for business... and have more heart, more sensitivity for the lives of animals... this caused me to get sick!!!!If the doctor doesn't answer my calls it's because he has to say that wasting my time doesn't pay me more... for consultations... and I waste my time!Be more aware!!!And don't forget There is a God

Not sure if I came here on a bad day but I’m really unimpressed with this office. I had a 10:30am appointment and didn’t see Dr. Cordova until 12:10pm… There was no communication about the delay which left me feeling very frustrated. Our meeting was 10mins long for me to receive the information that there’s nothing this office can do for me at this time which I kind of knew, my dog has mast cell tumor in his foot but I wanted a referral and maybe a second opinion. I thought they would at least take some notes about my dog or add any information to his file but no. They proceeded to give me a business card and when I asked if they are going to forward my records over to the referred center they said oh well you have them right? You can send them over, nothing changed. So what did I just pay $88 for? A business card. I could have just called for that. Actually I did. And left a voicemail and no one got back to me so I called again for an appointment. I feel scammed and will not be back.

A shady and ridiculously expensive business! In December 2020, I took my 10 week old puppy Brunch for an appointment here. She had been throwing up for two nights, and had diarrhea during the day. Back then it was drive by service, so I drove Brunch there during the middle of the day. They said they needed X-rays to determine if there was anything stuck in her body and informed me it would take a few hours, with results coming back the next day. Guess how much the X-rays cost...$200, $300? NOPE, it was $1000 dollars. Yes I kid you not, $1000 dollars. Of course I would do anything for Brunch as she is my first dog so I obliged, as I was afraid there might be something seriously wrong with her. I took brunch back around their closing time, anxiously awaiting the results of the X-rays the next day. Well tomorrow morning they called me and informed me that they could not find anything in the X-ray scans. They claimed that there was food that was blocking the imaging, and recommended another round of imaging that would cost at least $700. This time I refused as I feel like I got scammed entirely. Two more days pass and Brunch recovered fully without any medication. I would not recommend this place to ANYONE as they scammed me out of $1000, saying that dog food got in the way of their imaging which is just laughable. For better service, go to Weston lakes animal hospital. This place is extremely shady and are EXTREMELY happy taking your money without providing any kind of care for your pet.

I took my kitty Silky for check up. I was concerned about her distended tummy. Dr. Cordova was very gentle and thorough with her examination. He explained and discussed his findings as well as addressing our concerns. The office staff were very friendly. I will be returning to his office.

I will be forever grateful with you. Everyone is nice, they actually focus on your pet and want the best for it and you. My dog Corina just passed and they took care of everything, they were all so kind and supportive. They actually felt our pain. Thank you for sending me her paw prints and pieces of her hair, this will help us bring closure to our family, it was a beautiful and unexpected gift. Thank you, thank you, thank you.If you choose them, your pets will be in great hands ??

Dr. Cordova and his staff have been taking care of my dog, Murphy, for nearly 14 years. The staff is caring, sensitive, and flexible. They will work with me to accommodate my work hours so Murphy is seen asap. Dr. Cordova always informs me of the best options to keep Murphy healthy and happy. I feel the prices are fair as well. I highly recommend this veterinary practice.

Do not trust this vet. All they want is your money and have no love for the animals they service. After spending upwards of $1,500 for diagnostics for my dog who was peeing blood, they sent us home with some general antibiotics. After the blood stopped, they ran more tests and sent us home saying he was all good, they softly recommended a neuter on the dog, but assured us he was all good from there and that immediate action was not required. 1 month later the dog became unable to urinate, took him back to them in his critical condition after he couldn't go for a 24 hour period. Dropped him off at 9AM and did not hear back until 3PM in the afternoon! At which point they indicated he was in critical condition and needed immediate attention, funny how they say this after having the dog for over 5 hours. They gave us extremely high estimates for their procedure and were extremely unhelpful to us. I guess they assume everyone has unlimited resources. Demanded a 50% deposit to try and do a procedure that I later found out was not even the right one !! When I found a true vet who wanted to care and help my dog, they blew them off on the phone when they called to ask for the records. And to top it all off, they billed me $50 for keeping my dog there and only pressing on his stomach after a 5 hour stay with them! Worst vet in the country !! By the time I made it to the new clinic he was looked at and helped by 30 minutes of arrival. Plus they charged me about HALF of what this vet estimated me. Dr. Cordova you are a joke of a vet and you should be banned from your practice. All you care about is filling your dirty pockets ! My dog was on the verge of dying because of YOU!

They took my dog at last minute notice. Took great care of him. Listened to all my concerns. There was a mix up with the front desk, but the issue was resolved in a professional manner. My dog feels better and I will make this my new vet :)

I really wanted to like this place based on the reviews I read. Unfortunately, I had a not so great experience. A few days into my absence, I called to see how my pet was doing and the response was less than comforting. The check-out process was what really made me write this review. I was charged $7.00 per day more than I was told and also charged $40.00 for a bath that I clearly told the lady at check-in I didn't want; however that charge was reversed. Left an extra baggie with food just in case flight was delayed, never got that back. The guy helping the lady at check-out was less that friendly. All in all not a good experience. Don't think I'll be going back here.
