Poor service, poor mechanical work and no responsibility
I had a terrible experience at Firestone Weston. I went to do a simple oil change and it turns out they installed the filter incorrectly, which caused me to lose all the engine oil while driving. I returned to the workshop to complain, but they did not accept their mistake. The attitude was totally unacceptable. I do not recommend this place, they have no professionalism or ethics in their work.

I recently visited this shop to replace a rear tire on my Toyota Corolla, which is front-wheel drive. I specifically asked for the new and best tires to be placed on the front, as is recommended for this type of vehicle. The staff initially agreed but when I returned, they hadn't done this. Instead, I was given a ridiculous explanation by a bald employee about why new tires should be in the back for safety in turns, showing a complete lack of understanding about front-wheel drive cars. If Raul isn't there, save your time and money - this team doesn't know what they're doing.

I would not recommend anyone taking their car to this place. Two times I had them change the rotors and pads because they install bad quality ones. Yesterday I went to Jiffy’s in University and change again the cheap rotors installed by this place. More over the people there, at the Firestone at Glades, make up unneeded jobs. Stay away!!!

They literally rob you. I went in for a routine oil change since the mechanic I usually go to was sick. They gave me my car back with $1,000 worth of things they believe I have to fix on my car. They told me my oil pan was broken, I proceeded to go home and my car leaked tons of oil. Two days later I got it checked out by my mechanic and the screw wasn’t on well. He fixed it & my car is not longer leaking oil.

Beware - Blatant Dishonesty from their GM - read below w/ documentation
Note: I had to edit this down to remove other issues they mis-diagnosed but I didn't pay them to resolve. Google has a limit on the length of my review, probably for the best.
I’ve been going to this Firestone location since 2012 Sean Bishop was the GM.
I’m not a chump when it comes to cars.
A few years have lapsed between my last visits to this location and today with new management.
My wife’s car has been having AC issues for the last year or so. Mainly in that it loses the charge over a 6-8 month period. We’ve brought it in two times in the last two years to have it re-charged and have them load in the special Dye to look for leaks. The first time we did this, they saw no leaks so we chalked it up to old age (70k miles) that it needed a recharge. The second time it required a re-charge, we did the same thing again. This time, life got in the way and we were unable to bring it back the 2 weeks later - the charge held.
We brought the car in a few weeks ago because the AC was no longer blowing cold air to the driver’s side of the car, only the passenger side. We told this to Raul (GM) and their technician, they recommended changing the “high side and low side valves” on the AC. We also had them do an alignment on the car because we were holding the steering wheel at an angle to keep it driving straight.
When we picked up the car again, the AC was blowing WORSE than when we brought it in. It was also making a new hissing/pressurizing sound that did not seem normal inside the cabin. Additionally, we were still holding the steering wheel the same way as if the alignment never happened.
They agreed to do the re-alignment as it was under the 1-year alignment warranty that comes with an alignment by default.
They came back to us stating the AC needed 2 suction lines replaced, for $800. I asked them if they definitively knew this was the issue and they told me yes. I pressed them more asking why it wouldn’t have come up from the dye each time and if they saw the leak this time. They told me that this was definitely the issue with the AC.
They told me they re-did the alignment but the tires need replacement for it to actually hold (they’re probably 5k away from replacement). Alignment still feels no different.
It seemed like they were taking shots in the dark to fix the issue.
I took it to the dealership to have them evaluate
The AC evaporator inside the dashboard was the issue, $1500 to replace that (dealer labor obv. is expensive) and everything is working 100%, no weird hissing/pressurizing sounds and the air is again consistently cold and operational.
I spoke with him about some of my ordeal with Firestone. I let him know what we were experiencing with the AC blowing warm on one side and he immediately said “Oh yeah, that’s the evaporator.”
I told him they replaced the high side and low side values and his words were “That doesn’t exist on this car.”
I also asked him if replacing the evaporator would also encompass replacing the suction lines and he explained they are in completely different parts of the car (Condenser in dash in car, suction lines in engine bay).
At the end of this all, my experience with Firestone is now one of complete mistrust. I’m appalled at the blatant dishonesty. It feels like we were just another money cow for them to milk as much as they could. Our car is still not aligned, we paid the dealership to fix the job ONCE.
Before posting this, I tried reaching out to an area manager multiple times to take this up directly with them. Multiple call attempts and talking to a webchat - two weeks later and still crickets...they don't give out contact details, they send a message to the AM to get back to you.
I’m back to my search for a reputable auto center to se

Had a small nail in my tire to check out. When they opened I made an appointment online with first availability in the afternoon. After waiting for that and arriving I was welcomed rather unfriendly by an older guy and told that they had so many cars that they probably would not get to working on the car that day. Very unwilling unfriendly attitude, and not even trying. Then went to Tires Plus in Weston, same day, without appointment, and one of the employees immediately helped me out and solved the problem... and in a friendly way.
Firestone management; the folks welcoming clients are the first impression... do better.

Normally I've had a great , honest experience at this location. However, I will not be returning! I dropped my fleet vehicle off for a routine oil change. My car only had 17k miles and is only a year and half old. Upon picking it up I asked what was needed, anything besides oil, and the man at the front said "oh yeah, and 4 new tires". There is a 0% chance my car NEEDED 4 new tires and all I was told "well, the fleet company approved it". Don't you think you should have called the driver of the vehicle as well for the heads up?? I don't care if this doesn't come out of my pocket you are scamming the fleet company and this is horrible business! I will never be doing business here again.

Went there for an oil change, they came back with a list of over $1,000 worth of work. They said I needed 2 front tires replaced. I had bought those tires 6 months ago with a 2 year warranty. They upsell uneeded all the time. Buyer Beware!!!!

Needed new tires and a rotation done on my vehicle before a long trip. Everything seemed fine at first drove home happily. The next day in the morning i went to drive and one of my tires was very low on air so i immediately took it back to get it checked out for damage or anything that might have happened in the less than 24 hours time frame since the service. They didn’t even reset the sensors on my tires, so I had to figure out which one was faulty on my own, to make sure they checked them correctly. The technician concluded that it was a ripped valve stem and that it was replaced. Tires maintained the air for a few days. Now driving across states my tire went from 36psi down to 9psi in a matter of minutes. After stopping and checking for punctures or damage i noticed that the valve stem was not replaced at all and was leaking air. Extremely disappointed in the service and how little care was put to make sure my car proper to drive. At this point, who knows if they even did anything to my car when i took it back. Seems like they were just trying to get rid of me. Writing this from another Firestone which I had to find while pulled over on the side of the highway In Georgia. If you are coming to this Firestone, triple check everything to be sure that what’s wrong with your car was complete before driving home. Or better yet, don’t go.

On 08/3/22 Brought my 4 new tires to be installed to this place. The first thing I told them was that my rims are black and needed to be careful not to scratch them, the man behind the counter named Raul, (nice guy by the way) told me "we do this all day" Guess what? when I went to pick up my car all of the rims had scratches al over the rims. Raul then called the guy who worked on the car and he came out with a wet towel trying to make the scratches disappear like magic. Well obviously the scratches did not disappear and they told me that they will take care of it, and that I will be receiving a phone call from someone to come and repair my rims. Still waiting for the call. These people are really irresponsible and not trustworthy, I submitted my claim with TIRE RACK since they had them on their web page and I thought that it was a plus, but NO. Hopefully TIRE RACK apologized for these clowns and will take actions on not recommending them in their web. Also balancing of tires was awful, car vibrates around 65 to 70 MPH. Stick to your dealer if you have a new car, don't waist your money and time with this unprofessional auto center.
